OK dress for Yachtsman Steakhouse?

I was thinking Polo and Jeans for myself and jeans and a nice shirt for the wife and kids. Would this be acceptable?

Definitely. You will see all kinds of casual and dressy outfits. We like to dress up a little as it is usually "date night" for us.

perfect timing...I was just about to post a very similar question! Can I get away with nice shorts and a polo? I would normally wear khakis and a nice shirt, or perhaps even a tie to a nice steakhouse...however, being on vacation and worrying about packing, etc, I'm not too thrilled with bringing down a pair of khakis and dress shoes to just wear for one dinner.

So, would I feel out of place with nice shorts and a nice shirt?

No, you won't feel out of place. Nice shorts and shirt are fine. That's what my husband wears when we go there. We were just there in September and like previous poster, you will see casual wear all the way to evening attire. Enjoy!

great...thanks! Not having to pack an extra pair of size 12 shoes will save a good bit of room in the suitcases!
