Does anyone know what brand of hot dogs they used at Caseys? If you are from New England, you'll get it - I really only like Fenway franks and I will eat Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

Caseys looks like a nice, inexpensive choice for a quick lunch, so any input will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have no idea what kind of hot dogs they are. But I know the last time we ate there, everyone who had a hot dog loved it and they disappeared rather quickly.

LOL momoftwins! I hear ya! We only eat the Fenways and Oscars, too. And we LOVE Casey's. Great hot dogs, and DS loves the corn dog nuggets. We always get right in and out with our food!

I second that, Fenway Franks are the best. The one's at Casey's are good, like Harambe I don't know what kind they are still we liked them.

I too was wondering what brand of Hot Dogs that they sell at Casey's and I e-mailed Disney and got a reply today that they use, John Morrell Food Service Black Label Gourmet Beef Franks. Unfortunatly I don't think that they sell them in the Southern Jersey Shore area that I live in. I have been craving a Casey's hot Dog for awhile now, and I won't be able to get one for another year or two :confused3 :sad2:
Just wanted to let everyone who wanted to know what brand they were, well what brand they were!!

Life is all about trade offs--you can't get Johnson's popcorn or good boardwalk fries in WDW, right?? ;)

Well, I don't know the difference from Fenway's to know what I'm missing, but I love Casey's hot dogs. We have to eat a Casey's hot dog while waiting for Wishes...it's a tradition.

Fenway's are good, Oscar are ok, but have you ever tasted a Little Rhody? They are awesome!!!

Casey's are good too... ;)

I prefer Kayem hot dogs. I really liked casey's dogs. Wow, I feel like a nerd talking about hot dogs in such detail. :teeth:

Well - I'll tell you that I have a very sensitive stomach - and it's a double whammy if I eat too late. However .... one night I was leaving
MVMCP right at midnight, and so hungry I could fall over. Casey's was still open, so I tempted fate and had a hot dog. It was really one of the best hot dogs I ever had - not greasy at all.
It didn't bother my stomach in the slightest bit!

There's also an old fashioned pin ball type of baseball game at Casey's. I dearly love that machine. On my solo trips, I play two games,
one for me, and one for my DH. When I get home,
I let him know what "his" score was.

...but I couldn't resist when I read the title of the thread.

This past Christmas we were in Magic Kingdom, Liberty Square, awaiting a parade. My husband was dying for a dog. He came back, running, with a wild look on his face. He thrust his hot dog at me, and pointed out a huge gash in the hot dog.

What? Apparently one of those wild gulls whacked him on the back of the head (as a distraction?), bit off a huge chunk of his bun, and left a huge claw mark in his hot dog! No lie!! We have pictures of the hot dog (sadly, wasn't there when the whole experience went down, but it is a heck of a story!!) :rotfl2:

We went to Casey's and not one person would eat the dogs. Go figure! I asked and found out that they are all beef NOT pork which we displaced New Englanders are used to. Just an FYI in case that is your family's preference as well. Threehearts

Being from the south we eat the bright red hotdogs that are full of preservatives and all that stuff that gives them flavor. After we all had a dog at Casey's we swore we would never eat there again. It had no flavor at all and the condiments were lacking. We eat our dog with mustard, chili, onion and sweet cole slaw. Sorry folks if you were wanting a good old southern dog or sweet ice tea you will not find it at Disney anywhere!

That's one of those moments that you wish you had on video!!

Those gulls have been known to steal the hot dog right out of the bun! Please do everyone a favor and stop feeding the birds!!!!

Casey's is OK, but can't touch Hoffman's from Rochester. Can't beat the natural casing (intestines for the uniformed)

Hey New Jerseryans!!
Casey's hot dogs are great but nothing beats a good sausage and peppers sandwich from Seaside!!!

Nothing beats a Salens hot dog, but I was plesantly surprised by Casey's. They are pretty good. Does anyone know if they are different than the other dogs they sell at the parks? I had one somewhere else on property and it was nasty!

I think Casey's has their own distinct hog dog that they use because they want you to have that "ballpark" taste.
