Ok Disney Worl or Land and why?

WDW is MUCH larger than DL. DL consists of DL and California Adventure. WDW consists of MK, Epcot, Studios, AK, water parks, miniature golf. They really can't be compared.

I haven't been to DL since they opened California Adventure.

It seems so much on a smaller scale. It is the original Disney to the World,

But DW is the original in my world. I have watched it develop from one lonely park into the vast property it is today. Since it is open to change so easily--that does bother me a bit...but it doesn't have the crammed property feel of DL.

I did like Matterhorn and Port Orleans Square and such. And I got to ride Splash Mountain there before it ever existed at WDW. That was pretty cool.

I pretty much grew up in DL--it's my home away from home. That said, I still wanted to visit WDW very, very much and finally did this past April. My favorite park there is Epcot. To me MK just didn't have what DL has, so I didn't spend so much time there (I did spend an entire day from EMH opening until Wishes was over). DL has much more charm (and more attractions) than MK and just taking the theme parks, there are actually more attractions in the two parks at DLR than there are at the 4 at WDW. Still, I do want to go back to WDW.

DL is the orignial prototype theme park in the world. It is historic. BUT...WDW is the same size as the City of San Fransisco. The scale can not be described. What they tried to do with the addition of DTD and CA at "Disneyland Resort" is bring a little of WDW to California. WDW has its own freeway system, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 19 Disney owned resorts, 2 miniture golfcoarses, 5? championship golfcoarses, Downtown Disney shopping area (much! larger than the CA one), Pleasure Island adult fun area, water skiing, boats,a speedway, a sporting area (Wide World of Sports)...The list goes on... It really is a "WORLD" compared to a land. You have to see it to beleive it.

It is very aptly named.:sunny:

Definitely WDW! :D I've never been to DL, but I've been to WDW quite a few times ever since I was 2 years old. I know I want to visit DL someday, but I can't imagine it being as fun as WDW. I know it's the original park, but WDW has so much more to offer.

I have never been to DL, and after going to WDW a few times, I realy don't have a desire to go DL. My "home" is WDW. It is much bigger and soooo much to do and see.

I much prefer WDW because it is a resort by itself. Sometimes at DL when you go up high on rides you see outside the park: traffic jams, cookie cutter hotels, and smog. It detracts from the feeling of being immersed in the magic.

And there are more day trippers at DL. Now don't flame me, I love all people, it's just that hordes of teen agers without their parents lends the park something of a Six Flags feel, less family and more amusement park.

But everyone should go at least once because there are enough differences and different attractions to make it special. But a weekend is enough as opposed to a week at WDW.
