Oh my....the list is endless....
The geographical center of the property
It's at Epcot. I won't reveal more than that.

Consider it a scavenger hunt.

why the shutters in liberty Square are actually slightly crooked,
During Revolutionary War times, the British stopped sending bullets. Well, those clever colonists melted down all the metals the British DID send. Well, the British got wise and stopped sending ALL metals. So the colonists used the metal on their window shutter hinges, and replaced the hinges with leather. As time wore on the leather stretched, et voila - crooked shutters.

how the Magic Kingdom resorts "line up" with the Magic Kingdom lands
It really only extends to the initial 2 resorts that were built. As Disney built up hotels, they sort of "fit" the new resorts into that mold. The contemporary was built so that the ONLY place you can see it from within the park is in Tomorrowland. The Polynesian, when it was initially built didn't extend as far east as it does now. It was considered to line up with Adventureland. And the Grand Floridian (this one was built in '88 I think, so it doesn't really fit) supposedly lines up with City Hall on Main Street. I should have said monorail resorts. The Wilderness Lodge doesn't really fit into that scheme at all.

the "credits" along the upper floor windows on Main Street
Take a look at some of the names. You'll notice an M.T. Lott. (Empty Lot). This was the name of the CEO of the dummy corporations Disney set up to purchase the land that is now Walt Disney World property. And, because it's considered a show, Walt would have been the "director". So his name sits on the very last window. And it faces the castle - so that he could always see his creation.

the forced perspective used throughout the entire property....
Main Street was designed so it looks longer going into the park, and shorter coming out. The castle uses the same gag to make it look taller. Forced perspective is used ad nauseum in MGM Studios.
Check out the secrets thread! It's linked in the Sticke threads sticky at the top of the Theme Parks board page! LOTS of nifty trivia in there.
