Who is willing to help me here? LOL I have SO many questions I dont know where to begin! I know I could email my DU agent but I doubt she will be there until Tuesday and I have some questions I need to know about so I can inform the inlaws at dinner today! LOL

So are you ready??? Here we go!

1) We are going on the 14th of November and my DU reservation form thing says final payment is due by Sept 12th. I plan on using the online form to make my payment but wondered if I could pay 1/2 on 1 credit card and 1/2 on another or does it all have to be paid on one card? If I pay 1/2 and 1/2 can I do them 1 after the other or do I have to wait a day or so to do it?

2) I read somewhere (escapes me right now) that once you pay in full by the day that the DU agent can get you PS at the character breakfasts and such..is that true? Do you just tell the agent what you want to do???

3) I know you can book excursions before you go but how? Do I do it through DU or is it a Disney thing?? If so how do I do it??? How do I find out what excursions are listed?? Anyone have any ideas on good things to do in Nassau and Freeport with 2 50 something grandparents, us and our 3 kids ages 9,7 and 3? Hubby and I scuba dive and were hoping to do a dive and then meet the kids and grandparents for Dolphin Encounter in Nassau but dont know if that is possible! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

4) We are thinking of doing the Cinderella Castle breakfast hopefully on Friday the 15th of November (our first day at the park since we dont arrive until almost midnight local time on Thursday) is it hard to find where you go to eat? What do you do? Is this worth the money?? I also heard about some princess breakfast at Epcot. My dd LOVES Ariel...where is she? IS she at the epcot one or where at all???

These are some of the beginning questions I have! I am sure as I sit here I will think of more and more so please bear with me. When I do I will post more questions on another thread but these are the most important ones I can think of right now. ANY help would be SO appreciated!
Thanks!
Heidi

Hi Heidi! I'll try and help. :)

1) Yes, you can split payments between two credit cards using the online form for DU. Just note in the comments section of each submission what you are doing and it is no problem at all. You should do both payments at ONCE, though, don't wait, as they can't call in the payment unless they have the information for both credit cards.

2) Do you have a land/sea package booked with DU, or a land reservation in addition to your cruise? If so, then most definitely they can get a priority seating for you and you should let your agent know what you'd like. If you have the cruise only booked and no land portion then they would not be able to assist with priority seatings...that service comes only if you have the WDW portion of your stay booked through Dreams or DreamsRES (for offsite hotels).

3) When you make your final payment Dreams will send you a link with all the current shore excursion information and how to make your reservation. You make it directly with DCL by either calling it in or faxing it in.

4) Ariel is not at EITHER character breakfast, actually, and if you can get a priority seating I'd personally recommend the one at Epcot over Cinderella's Royal Table. CRT requires a credit card to book the reservation with a deposit now. It books up generally within 5-10 minutes each day, and you have to call at exactly 7:00 am 60 days in advance to get it. The Epcot breakfast is also very popular now, but does not require a credit card, and it books 120 days in advance. I'd get that PS NOW if you know what you want. It's an excellent breakfast with very good character interaction.

I hope that helps some! :)

Thank you SO much!! It is great to have such helpful people on here at all times...even when I am pressed for time and stressing out! LOL

Ok so

1) When I send in my payments (I want to use some of my savings and book on my amex card to get the flier miles LOL:D and put the rest that I dont have in savings on another card so I should just do them seperate right but within a minute or two of each other. Should I let my DU agent know what I did or just type it in the comment box?

2. Yes we have the Land/Sea portion booked through DU. Our DU agent got us our room at the Poly and even though I guess we will miss the 1st day of our park entrance it was still cheaper to go land/sea pkg than seperately since we have inlaws going and such.

3. So the earlier I make the payment the better right so I can decide. Is it a 60 day mark thing too??? Do they tend to fill up pretty fast??? On day 60 I can just call or fax Disney and they will help me??? DU will email me the link right???

4. Thanks for the help on the Cindy vs. Epcot. I cant see on my sheet from my agent at DU about the Epcot one..just read about it on the WDW boards here at disboards.com. I dont know what it is, entails or pricing...do you know what they are by chance??? I heard the Cindy one books up very fast but if I want it can I have my agent try for that one or is it something I have to do? If it is full then can I try for the Epcot one??? I am SO new to this! I love the way DU and Disney do things but I am so used to the "other" cruise lines and fending for myself that this is uncharted water for me so to speak!

Anyway thanks alot for getting back to me so quickly. I should be able to tell in laws some stuff tonight and help us all relax a little bit since NONE of us has ever been to WDW or on the Disney Cruise. I have only been to Miami for prenight stays for our other cruise line cruises so I am flustered, scared, insane...you pick an adjective and that is me trying to plan this trip especially since I am the only one doing it so EVERYONE is going to look to me if it sucks! LOL

Thanks again!
Heidi

The number to call for booking shore excusions is 1-877-566-0968. The fax number is 1-407-566-7031. You can book your excursions once you are 60 days from your sail date. If you do not receive a shore excursion form by the time you can sign up for shore excurtions then you can call and they will fax you a copy.

We did not see Ariel at any character meals, but she is in the Magic Kingdom at Ariel's Grotto which is located kind of across from the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

In Freeport we did the Lucayan beach day and we thought it was very nice. You get to use the beach and the pool which is GIANT and it also has a water slide....it came with lunch (standard take out lunch type food). They have hair braiding right t here too.
