My DHs favorite quote....." I will gladly pay Tuesday for a hambruger today" Whimpy from Popeye hehehe!

Anyway my bruger loving man will need a real good burger while we are there or he will just faint from lack of burger intake.

PLease share your favorite burger places and you know I mean a REAL BURGER hehe!

Thanks!

These are all good:

Olivia's - OKW
Liberty Tree Tavern - MK (lunch menu)
Plaza Restaurant - MK

and for a smaller buger:

Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe - MK
pecos Bill's - MK

In September we ate at Big River Brewing on the Boardwalk and their burgers were huge and delicious. They had super micro brew beers that were fresh and yummy! I used to love the burgers at Beaches and cream but they seemed average last time.

We really like the burgers at Beaches N Cream. They have always been great.

My DH is a real burger man too and he loves the burgers at Beaches & Cream. We have to go there every trip! He also has liked the ones at Pecos Bill's with their fixin's bar.

Have a great trip!!

We love the burgers at Beaches and Cream and Whispering Canyon.

Another Beaches and Cream vote. Very, super delicious.

Another vote for Pecos Bills - love their fixin's bar!!!!

I was a chef by profession for many years and for me a burger is it, Gourmet food??? Bacon Cheese Burger

Anyway for ist down Beaches and Creams burgers are great, Counter service at the parks? Pecos Bill's burgers are very good and same with Cosmic Rays. We eat at both everytime we are there and sometimes multiple times.

Everyone always comments on how much they like the fixin's bar at Pecos Bill's but I am somewhat of a burger 'purist' and so I'am not all that interested in that aspect. I don't eat burgers from McDonald's, Burger King, etc only big juicy 100% angus beef... ok, you get the idea. :teeth: So, fixins bar aside, would I be happy w/ the Pecos Bill's burger?

yep listen to the wise people above as they know what they are talking about!!!!

Beaches and Cream and Peco's Bills...............Now I am hungry!!!!!!

no. and I love Pecos Bill's. there are pretty good burgers in the parks, nothing special. you need to hit a resort like the yacht club to get a great burger.

Angus Beef it ain't but they are fresh and hot and juicey.
I love a burger off the grill and these are not the same but for the fast food side they are good. They are MUCH better then they were a few years ago I know that,

Pecos Bill's aren't the homemade gourmet tasting burgers (Sci fi has a good one of those, the Plaza is also really good) but they are fresh, juicy and very good, much better than any fast food restaurant. You can get a single, a double cheesburger or even add bacon. On the toppings bar they have someone grilling fresh hot onions and mushrooms, lettuce was nice and green and the hot cheese sauce is very tasty. Plus it's really a lot of fun to sit outiside and eat and enjoy the atmosphere of frontierland.

I can tell you that Disney is very precise about their counter service burgers. Last Saturday we arrived at our resort, Port Orleans French Quarter. The food court wasn't very crowded so I got to watch the cook make a fresh burger just for me. Kitchen was extremely clean, the meat is fresh, not frozen and they season it on the grill and test it with a meat thermometer to make sure it is cooked properly but not overdone. Great value too, it was $5.89 for the burger and a huge portion of fries.

Beaches & Creme has the best burgers in WDW. We always have to have them at least once on every trip. They are fresh patties (not frozen) so they are very good. There onion rings & sundaes are very good too.

For our last trip, WCC definitely had the best burger (which surprised us), Beaches 'n Cream was not far behind. As for Pecos Bills we thought the burger was just ok.

I was told by someone who just came back that the absolute best burger they had at WDW was at Raglan Road in DTD (the new Irish restaurant) They also have great beers from Ireland so you may want to make a pilgrimage and taste test for yourself.
