Many people enjoy being able to sit on the living room couch and get a beer from the fridge without having to stand up.

LOL!

Keep the one liners coming! LOL

Very good point, and while you are sitting there drinking that beer (you could reach from the couch) you can reach the washer and dryer too, :)

we own at OKW but have enjoyed BC 3 times over the past 10 years - last month at BCV.

the atmosphere at BCV is unbeatable. if available at the 7 month window for us, we'll be staying there almost every time.

on our visit last month, our room had a perfect view of Epcot so we could see the fireworks each night.

one thing that BCV has over other resorts (OKW in particular) is the bigger parking lot. at OKW, parking can be difficult at times. for us, it's worse than that with a 33 foot RV. when we stay at OKW, we have to park it at Port Orleans and it's a pain. At BCV, no problems at all - we had the whole back of the parking lot to ourselves.

I almost stayed at BCV this time. It would have been a bit closer to my Brother's hotel, the Swasn, but I felt that it being so far from the Boardwalk, compared to BWV, would be too inconvenient.

No matter, at least I still get all the upsides of the actual unit, all the conveniences I have already mentioned, albeit without the problem solving tests of the maze at BCV.

We have recently purchased at BCV - the main reason - we LOVE Epcot and we love the BC and YC resorts. We consider this one of the most beautiful areas/resorts at Disney. We have visited many of the others and keep coming back to this one.

If you love Epcot and MGM, BCV is the place for you, despite what other people may consider negative. Your choice is really based on your location needs. When we first started visiting Disney, we stayed at the Institute. Those "home away from home" resorts were wonderful - huge, quiet and lovely. However, a bus ride from everything. We debated buying at Saratoga Springs since is is the old Institute but the location of BCV could not be beat in our mind. The pool was a real positive too for our DD.

:earsgirl:

the BCV closer to the Swan - that's another joke right - the Swan is next door to the BWV.

Our home resort is BWV, but DD and I are staying at BCV in 10 days. :D I love to try the different resorts and this will be our first time at BCV. I haven't requested anything too much, just near the elevator. We're staying in a studio, and from previous BWV and VWL experience, I don't think the pull-out sofa will be a big issue.
From reading this thread, I'm happy we were able to get in there.
The resort sounds beautiful! :) Also, any problems previously
reported, seem to have been worked out.
