Ok, all you Blue Lagoon veterans....

If you booked the Disney excursion for the Blue Lagoon Beach Day...once there....could you book or participate in some sort of snorkel activities there? Do they offer snorkeling? What about stringrays at Blue Lagoon. What can you do at Blue Lagoon other than sit on the beach?

I think they do offer snorkeling there on the other side of the lagoon, but I don't know what to tell you about waiting til you get there to book it. They also have a "dolphin encounter" there. No beach chairs, just picnic tables, so take some big towels to sit on. I was there in 2000, so maybe they've changed things since I've been there, but that's all they had back then.

We (DD15, DS14, DH and myself) snorkeled at the Blue Lagoon during our 2000 DCL cruise. At that time you paid and picked up your snorkeling equipment after arriving at the Blue Lagoon. The snorkeling was nice but on the day we were there the ocean was quite rough.

But it is worth it as the snorkeling on Castaway Cay is just so-so.
