OJ found guilty this time....justice delayed, I guess.

Good Riddance! I hope he enjoys the rest of his life in jail.

Go get some soap on a rope OJ;) :lmao:

He deserves everthing he gets....Karma is a *itch;)

I'm glad the judge denied the motions for him to be released on bail until sentencing. If ever there were a flight risk, it's OJ.

Funny, though, IMO, how little publicity this trial had considering all that had happened back then.
Perhaps they are waiting till sentencing. No one want to jinx it and have him say it was an unfair sentencing because of linch mob publicity. . .Plus, it would be horrible if they only gave him 5 years  after all this, which is the least sentence he could get.

They should have added a 13th count to find him guilty of: STUPIDITY!

My mom (who lives in Vegas) said of course this has been the front page headliner. Anyway, she said that on the news OJ's lawyers are complaining that the jury did not consist of any other African Americans. They are also upset the panel was mostly women. Good grief. They did have a say in the selection too ya know. Whatever!

I think even though he entered this hotel room with guns on him and his buddy, the punishment is a little harsh (for the crime). It is totally a "make-up" for letting him go the last few times. Remember he was even let go for a DUI stint in Florida I think. He seems like he had this opinion that he could do whatever he wanted and he could get away with anything and everything. Anyway, I'm glad he has a new home now, personally. I'm glad he can't go out and play golf anymore. It also makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know that it was Vegas baby that put him away! :woohoo: Guess luck wasn't a lady for him this time!!

You got that right.

My son got this short at Hot Topic a couple summers ago ..... sums it up:

Now THAT is funny! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I wouldn't be too shocked if he doesn't manage to get away with this on appeal.

Did you know that it was 13 years ago to the day that he was accused of killing his wife and it took the jury this time 13 hours to reach a verdict:eek: Now that's weird, yes?

::yes::

It's sad that it took so long for justice to be served, but better late than never I guess.

I heard that! Actually I heard it was 13-years to the date that he was aquitted of charges in the murders. Who done it? :confused3 Maybe he'll meet 13 Bubba's in jail...whoops did I say that?

It's sweet! He can no longer have his yearly celebrations of how he got away with a double murder.

Do you think his defense team is going to be able to pull off the appeal? I know it's standard operating procedure, but are they ever going to find a jury that doesn't know about the previous case? I doubt it. He might as well give up and realize his days of playing are over. Just wish it'd happened 13 years ago. :(

Wow, that's the same thing that my DH said. Woops.

I hope they don't pull off an appeal. I'm glad he's going to jail for his recent crimes, but he has had 13 years of freedom that Ron and Nicole didn't have. I think he will kill himself if he gets the chance.

It's his own stupid fault. He found out years ago after the civil judgement that the sheriffs dept. was on their way to his house to collect all his valuables including trophies, etc to be turned over to the Goldman's. He did not want them to have anything so he had one of his thugs quickly come and remove his things to put into storage. He had been trying for years to get his stuff back which prompted the hotel fiasco last year. All because he did not want Fred Goldman to get a penny of his money, he will now probably spend the rest of his life in jail. He gets what he deserves.

I think you're right--I can see him doing that.

I feel sorry for his children; I can only imagine what they've had to live with, with all the media attention and such. :(

I really think he thinks Ron and Nicole "made" him do it and they had it coming. He sees himself as a victim. If he really thinks he is going to spend significant amount of time in prison he will off himself the first chance he gets. He's a miserable excuse for a human being.
