Oil and Vinegar Cruets-does anyone know which one is which?

Does the oil go into the bulbous one or into the taller one? Does anyone know why?

mine are labeled- Aceto (vinegar) and Oilo (oil) but the real clue is in the tops-if you have the metal pour tops oil goes in the one that looks like it will just allow a drizzle-vinegar in the one that will pour faster. If your going by shape-im not sure.

The ones I have have no labeling (they are very old) and both will pour-no drizzle. I am at a loss.
