Our Cast--Me, DW, DS 12 & DD 10..our 3rd trip..and...our 2, 1st time Diser Nieces 15 & 12.
2 rooms @ POP Century. We were given 50s section 4th floor facing the bowling pin pool.
All of us on the free dinning plan.
Overview
We all had a great time.
It was fun experiencing the Magic through the faces of our 1st timers. We were worried they would not get it. but, boy did they! Our kids we threatened not to reveal al the surprises of the rides and shows and they did a great job. POP was just OK in my opinion. The dinning plan was WAY too much. In many ways it impeded our time in the parks. I will go into more detail with our daily trip reports..
The Drive
Thanks to all who gave input on our DH V DW poll. We compromised and began our 14 hr drive at 2 AM Sunday. The traffic was very light. No problems at all going through Atlanta and we arrived at POP around 4:30.
Check in was no problem. We stowed our gear, checked out the hotel & used our 1st CS meal at the restaurant. The Kids loved the cheeseburgers. I enjoyed the steak wrap and DW had a veggie lasagna. All meals came with a piece of cheesecake, pie or cake and a bottle of soda.
We were all stuffed. 
After checking out the gift shop we hopped a bus to DTD. Our 1st timers were awestruck at the detail of the decorations around DTD and we used our Disney visa for a 10% discount at the BIG store. We had 3 Ghirradelli coupons (buy 1 get 1, or ½ of a purchase) We were still so full from dinner we only used 2 and gave 1 to a couple behind us. We could not finish the 2 wonderful sundeas and a tear fell from DWs eye 
as we had to throw away perfectly good chocolate! This was a foreshadowing of things to come with the dinning plan! We hopped a bus back and let the kids swim in the bowling pin pool till 10:30. For the record POP is much prettier at night all lit up! After showering & laying my head on the pillow I noticed the sound of the screaming kids from the pool ( its open till 12) ..and I thought I will never get to sleep with all that n o i s e ZZZZZ!
