from Cleveland. We'll be driving to HHI this June for our first trip there. I remember driving straight through to both Orlando and Miami in the mid 70s when I was a kid. Parents both smoked. Windows up, driving down the highway. Not such good memories.

Mine did too! I live in Berea until I was 12. My parents were both native Clevelanders.

We fly. Prefer Akron-Canton - it's only 25 minutes away - but can seldom get direct flights or good deals. Usually go out of Cleveland or Pittsburgh. At some point, I'd like to drive. To have a car on property could be beneficial particularly for longer stays.

We drive most everytime. Stop either side of Atlanta and drive the rest in to SSR. Going to drive first week of June to VB and then in November to WDW. Would love to meet some people from here...Ohio that is....

We are neighbors to the North but definatly Buckeyes!!! My DH grew up in Stow. We put up with alot of crap from that other team!!! I think their colors are yellow and blue. We purchased AKV in Oct. and will be going home for the 1st time May 3.

Another Buckeye here! We live in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. I work downtown. Just love that sink hole in the middle of Public Square. We own at Hilton Head and always drive there but when we go to Disney we fly. Just love those Southwest prices!

Nice to "meet" so many other people from my home state.

Another Ohio DVC'er. I grew up in Akron. I lived and worked for years in Cleveland. My last job was working for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now I am about an hour southwest of Cleveland in a small rural community called Wooster.

We fly out of either CLE or CAK whichever has the best deals or the best direct flight schedule.

It's nice to meet everyone.

Another Buckeye here!! Grew up in Akron. Lived in Cuyahoga Falls for awhile and now reside in Uniontown. We are 3 minutes from CAK...We prefer to fly out of there (Airtran) and will be for our June trip. This past December we had to fly out of CLE because rates were better.

We are fairly new owners. We bought this past August at AKV.
