We will be staying off site at Nick kid suites but would really like to try OHANAS at POLY. Can we take our kids to neverland club or do we have to be on site hotel guest to use childcare. If I am not allowed to use childcare
do they offer other food chicken tenders, hot dogs for my kids? Do I have to pay full price for them still or just the cost of the chidrens food?

Thanks!!

My kids are somewhat picky and didn't eat from the reg. offerings...I don't remember what they had though...sorry!

anyone else?????????????????????

Not sure about the child care but they definitely have child frioendly offerings. I cannot remember all of it but they definitely had mac and cheese and chicken nuggets as that is what my kids ate there :) Bring the kids - 'Ohana is a blast for kids too - they do Hula "contests" and coconuit races with the kids :)

'Ohana is a very kid-friendly restaurant, so your kids would really like it. DD, who is 7, had a blast there last fall. If you are looking for a more romantic, adult centered place to eat, California Grill at the Contemporary or Citrico's or Narcoosee's at the GF are good- Artist's Point at WL is also good.

If you want to use the Neverland Club (or any of the Kids' Clubs), you can call for availibility- the clubs are usually reserved for on-site guests, but there might be spots available for off-site visitors. The cost is $10/hr per child.

Our DD went to the SandCastle Club at the Beach Club resort las fall- DH and I had a nice 'grownup' dinner. She had a great time.

maybe I will take the kids, I just did not want to rush through quickly because you never know with a 4 yo how they will behave.

The kids will have a good time! About every 20 mins or so, there are fun kid-oriented things to do- Hula Hoop contests, coconut races, and sing-a-longs with Hawaiian singing and ukelele playing. That should keep them entertained.

Is ohana's a character breakfast? if so which ones, or is dinner here a better choice ?
Yes, breakfast is a character meal. Lilo & Stitch, and Mickey and Goofy are at b'fast. No characters are at dinner, but they have all the kid-oriented games, etc. It is a fun place for kids, whichever meal you choose (but they aren't open for lunch).

You can order off a child's menu if you don't think the kids will eat the stuff at 'Ohanas. There are enough distractions that they shouldn't have a problem for dinner.

We were charged full price for a childs chicken tenders.
MaryKatesMom is right- you will pay the child price for the dinner ($10.99, I think?) whether your kids eat the fare offered to everyone, or a selection off the Kona kids' menu.

And both of my DD's were so overtired that they ate two bites of it at most. What a waste!

So to get this right I can use Neverland club while at Ohanas even though I am not staying on site, I just can't make reservation walk up only?

Hi, LOLA2-

I'm quoting directly off of www.allearsnet.com here:

"Some Deluxe resorts offer childcare services on site for Disney resort guests. In some cases, these services are also available to off site guests (call to determine availability). Reservations are required in most cases, although walk-ins may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To make reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE. You may also call the resorts directly."

So, I'd call WDW-DINE and ask if you can make a reservation if you are an off site guest.
