My son does not like the desert at Ohana's. I know I know my DH and I love it. DS also does not like ice cream is there anything else he can get?

you would probably have to ask.....but personally, and I am not trying to sound mean, but you know that is the dessert that is being served there...why make a reservation there and excpect them to go out of their way just because your son dislikes it??? Its not the same as having an allergy, maybe you should pick him up something ahead of time to bring with you while you are enjoying Ohanas bread pudding, or get hims omething afterward.

We had two in our party who can't eat gluten, and they substituted the dessert with ice cream instead. It was no problem.

Our kids were picking at their meals, trhe server came and asked them if they wanted kids meals bringing. So you can get other stuff for children.

Ask. They do offer some other options for you.

We LOVE the dessert, but every time we're there, the waiter always asks US if he needs to bring anything else for the kids (both at the begining of the meal ,and for dessert).

The alternative is usually plain ice cream and the OP's son does not want ice cream.

Ask. The restaurants will usually substitute fruit for those who can't eat dairy. Don't know what else you might be able to get.

We got some fried banana's with chocolate sauce in May. Just ask your server!

I've over heard several options offered, actually. Brownies, cookies, fruit, a cupcake...and, as you mentioned, ice cream.

Thank you for all the wonderful ideas, options and help that most of you provided. I had forgotten about the cup cakes he loves those. We just got our MNSSHP tickets in and are so looking forward to another wonderful trip.

I just had the fried bananas with chocolate sauce. It was the only part of the meal that I thought was good. I would ask for it.
