Okay, I have two table service credits left and these three places to choose from. We are a group of 7...3 adults and 4 children.

we ate at WCC last year and enjoyed the atmosphere but thought the food was okay, not great. However, I have heard that the atmosphere has "calmed down" recently.

Some of us don't eat seafood so at Coral Reef we would be getting the steak. We like the idea of the fishtank but have also heard that since one member of our group is in a wheelchair we would have to sit in the back on the top "tier". Can anyone who has been there confirm or deny that? (I have never been inside the restaraunt itself.)

Some of our group is staying at the Poly so Ohanas would be convenient. We ate there for breakfast last year and enjoyed it.

We are all on the dining plan so money isn't an issue! (oh and personally, I go for the desserts and love chocolate!)
Any thoughts/suggestions are most welcome!

lol, ive never been but i cant betcha most will say Ohana, followed by Coral then WCC...

lets see if im right :rotfl:

I would go for 'Ohana first, then WCC and lastly CR. 'Ohana would be great if you could get an ADR that covered Wishes.

I too am in a wheelchair and have a child that LOVES to watch fish. It sounds that we will be put out of the way which is not what we had hoped for. Can the kids walk down to the tank and stand and watch the fish. It will not bother me to be away from the tank as long as I can still see the kids even if I can't be next to them. Any thoughts?

I haven't eaten at Coral Reef yet, but we have an ADR in about 3 weeks.

We loved 'Ohana, which I think is especially good with a large group. We also had a mediocre experience at WCC and won't return. I'd say to do what we're doing--try something new and go to CR instead of returning to someplace you didn't like much before.

I would go to O'Hana first, followed by WCC, then CR. I think WCC with that many people would be a great time and alot of fun.

We have eaten at all 3. My order 'ohana, wcc & cr. I really wanted to like cr and went in with no expectations after reading my mixed reviews. My dd (5yrs.) enjoyed the fish tank. We were on the 2 tier and had a great view. The food was so-so but I found the atmosphere extremely loud. Even comparing cr to the other two restaurants that are more interactive.

We will be trying 'Ohana and CR this trip. Very excited! I love seafood, but the reviews are so great on the steak that I may have to try it! And I requested a surprise diver for DH and I's anniversary. (They are also planning to make us personalized menus, so if you have a special occasion among your group, this could be very fun and memorable!)

We ate at WCC last trip. The atmosphere was so much fun! The food, however, was just OK. DH had the steak, I tried it and found it too fatty, bland, and a little tough. DD and I had the skillet, which was good, but not great, and didn't care for the sausages.

I would say, try something new! 'Ohana is supposed to have a "fun" atmosphere at dinner too. And CR will probably be just as good from the top teir. Whatever you choose have a magical time!

We ate at all of those restaurants during our trip the first 2 weeks of June. Coral Reef was one of our favorite dining experiences of the whole trip. The kids loved watching the fish and diver, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. WCC was fine, nothing special. Our waitress was very calm. Her only schtick was throwing a bunch of straws and napkins on the table. Ohana was our worst meal of the trip. The service wasn't very good and the meats were awful (dry and too grill tasting). The side items and bread pudding were very good, but not worth a repeat visit for us. The entertainer wasn't very inspiring and he even seemed bored with himself. It seems to be hit or miss as far as reviews with all these restaurants. Look at the menus, poll your group, and decide what's best for you.
