Ohanas time and ADR - WDYT?

Hi Everyone!

I plan on going to MK and then hopefully Ohanas for dinner on our last night at WDW.

1. Is Ohanas a good place to have your last dinner or do you think I should do something different (like a character meal)?

2. MK closes at 7pm that night. I was hoping to try to get ADR's for around 6:45 - 7:45 sometime. Wishes start at 8pm that night....would these be good times to strive for or should I make them earlier?

3. (and this is non-restaurant related) Really? Wishes starts at 8pm? Its dark out that early in September?

Sounds like MK is closing at 7 because of MNSSHP, if thats the case HalloWishes doesn't start until about 9 or 9:30. We like Ohana I actually got it for 9/11 at 6:55pm I had read on here others couldn't get it, not sure if it is about table size. We are a table of 7. It would not be dark enough for Wishes at 8pm.

One of the things that did not make sense to me is the MK is closing at 7 PM and Wishes is at 8 PM. Wishes is never AFTER the park is closed.
I agree with Disney Wishes, if it is September it is probably a 7 PM closing for MNSSHP and I believe the special fireworks at the party are at 9:30 PM
I think 'OHana is a good place to eat on your last night. The kids will enjoy it very much. There are lots of fun activities for them to participate in. I thought the food was very good too.
If Hallowishes is at 9:30, I would make an ADR for 8:30 - 8:45 if you can eat that late.

Nope HalloWishes isn't on this night its on the night before this (on the 15th)- strange! It says that the park closes at 7pm and WIshes are at 8pm. I don't get it! I didn't think it would be anywhere dark enough for Wishes this early....strange to me. Its on Sept 16th calendar though

Ok, I got that it closes at 7pm from wdwinfo.com....on the disney website it says that the park closes at 8pm, but wishes still starts at 8pm. I just can't believe they would be that early. So, if that is the case, what time should I make dinner ADR's so we can see the fireworks?
