Alright so who else misses O'hanas scalloped potatoes? Everytime I go there a little part of me hopes that they will magically be there--and of course they're not.

So who else misses them? :sad1:

Anyone think we can fight to get them back!?! :worship:
Or at least get something better than the noodles....

Ingredients

1 pound Russet potatoes (washed and sliced)

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup cheddar cheese

2 tbsp parmesan cheese

1/4 cup thinly sliced sweet onions

1 tsp kosher salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a greased baking pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Let stand five minutes before serving.

I don't think you'll get them back. They went out about the time that Disney decided to get rid of trans fats at its restaurants.

They were definately good!! Mouth watering just thinking about them!

but we make the recipe that was posted above often. The whole family loves these. We still love Ohana's though.

I was bummed when they got rid of them but then very happy when I got to try the noodles! YUMMM

Don't care about the potatoes or noodles. Just better not do away with all of that meat and that great bread pudding dessert.

Never tried the potatoes. Liked the noodles though.

LOL I know this sounds stupid, but I flat out refused to even touch the noodles when we went to O'hana last year. I was so mad over the loss of the potatoes that I did not even let one of the hateful noodles touch my lips. Now I am wishing I had tried them :rotfl:. May I just say though, what fun is a vacation without trans fat? Just kidding, but I do really miss the potatoes.

This is my husband's thinking, too. :lmao: The noodles are good, but I do kinda miss the potatoes, too. :rolleyes1

How did you get the recipe?????? I can't wait to try it!!!!!!!:cool1::cool1::banana::love::woohoo::dance3::cheer2::yay:

I LOVE the noodles, yum! I ate so many of them last time I was too full to eat any meat. Im not a big meat eater anyways, but still I felt kind of bad paying so much for noodles 1 shrimp and bread pudding :lmao:

When we were there last year for mine and my daughters birthdays, I asked where the potatoes were. When the waitress told me they were gone from the menu I told her that was a "bummer". 5 minutes later she returned with a copy of the recipe and said "Happy Birthday"! :woohoo:
