Ohana's or Cinderella's Castle for dinner with three kids and JUST ME!

My husband won't be able to make our first night of vacation (just a short three night trip) SO... on our first day we plan on the Magic Kingdom. We are staying at the Contemporary (thanks SOG!) and so I was thinking we could do dinner at Ohana's OR the castle. I would like to do it before the 8 p.m. fireworks. Which do you think would be best for a mom and three kids, 12, 10 and 4. Thanks!

My kids really enjoyed O' Hanas. The coconut rolling contest and hula hoop contest were great and we had a nice walk out to the beach after dinner. My only complaint was that we really felt rushed during dinner.

I have done both w/o my husband when my children were much smaller.
Next year, the kids and I will be going back to DW w/o Dad. I will probably do the castle before my children think character meals are dumb. My daughter is 11 1/2 and my son is 10.

As long as it's not a Saturday night or during one of the Easter weeks I would eat at the castle. So magical.

We had a PS for 'Ohana on a Saturday night (6:30) a couple of weeks ago. When we checked in we requested a table by the window so we could watched the fireworks. They told us that would add about 45 min. to our wait, but then they called us in about 5.

This was one of the best meals we had. The food was great, atmosphere was really fun, and we saw the fireworks. I would never go to Disney again without doing this one!!

O'HANAS!!! It will keep them busy and the food is great! Then just hop on the monorail to MK! We've been making it a habit to dine at O'Hanas and then got to MK to watch the parade! - (I know your kids will like it!)
