Okay, I have three boys, two ten year old boys and a 4 year old boy. Which restaurant do you think they will enjoy for dinner? I was thinking Ohana's but I have heard good things about 1900 Park fare.

We are going to Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace so we will have other characters meals. We are mainly just looking at food quality, atmosphere and entertainment. Cinderella wouldn't be a big draw, they would consider her more of a girl thing.

The characters at 1900 Park Fare aren't likely to grab them; the food is good but nothing exciting or different.

Ohana is just a lot of fun. The food is good and plentiful, they can play, there are extraordinary views.

I'd take my boys to Ohana if I had boys.

Even with my two girls, I'm sorry we're not there this trip. It just didn't happen this time. Can't eat everywhere!

I took hubby and two teenage boys to Ohana two years ago and they are still talking about it ;) Steak cooked on fire seems to be something that the enjoy! :cool1:

Both DD and DS love Ohana....we have been to 1900 also, but felt it was better for little girls, especially the Cinderalla characters at night.

We've eaten at both. With boys, I would say to do Ohanas. They will like it much, much more. Have fun!

Thanks! I was leaning towards Ohana's, just thinking it sounds more boy. My husband also would rather go to Ohana's but was willing to go to 1900 for me. If the food at 1900 was a lot better, that might have decided us.

I also wouldn't mind a chance to check out Poly, we might want to stay there next time. Closest the kids and I will probably get to Hawaii for a while, my husband burns horribly so doesn't want to pay for Hawaii vacation when we live closer to Mexico.

Ohana's, simply because you won't have to get up. They bring the food to you!!

Plus, it is better IMO

We travel with 4 boys 17, 10, 7 and 5 they would vote O'Hana!! I would however like to see them dance with Cinderalla :flower3: :rotfl:

Ohana's hands down. They give you so much food and it's a great place for kids.:thumbsup2 Our DS13 still wants to go there everytime we are in the World.

We went to 1900 park fare with boys in tow. It didn't appeal to them. They wouldn't choose to go back. So I have a feeling your boys will feel the same way so maybe Ohana would be better. Girls would like it. I was the one who wanted to eat in the Grand Floridian (strawberry soup was good). We are trying Ohana next trip.

O'hana's for sure. My "boys" love it (hubby & son) Ha Ha!!!

My Grand Gathering group all said that Ohana's was their favorite resturant, we actually wished that we had eaten here more duing our 10 day trip with the DDP. My two girls ages 9 and 5 (at the time of our last trip) still talk about this resturant. The atmospher was wonderful for children. Hope this helps!

We haven't eaten dinner at Ohana's (just the breakfast...HIGHLY recommended by the way :thumbsup2 ) .... but we HAVE eaten dinner at 1900 Park Fare and very much enjoyed it. We were there this past Tuesday and it was great. It was my son's birthday trip, so they brought him out a crown to wear and the stepsisters had tons of fun with it. They decided that he was the restaurant's most eligible batchelor, and that they were going to try and woo him into marriage. Lady Tremaine made a big deal about eyeing him up and down to see if he was suitable material for her daughters. Just lots of fun and foolishness....and frankly, I think the characters had a good time with a boy as it gives THEM a different experience than with the little girls.

Our son pretended he wanted the floor to open up and suck him in with all the attention, but he loved every minute of it. His smiles in the photos say it all.

There were many boys in the restaurant...don't think your kids would feel out of place. And the food was great.....we loved it. Several different dishes that we didn't find at other buffets.

It was also nice to be able to visit the Grand Floridian. Very beautiful, very stately (though I wouldn't want to stay there.....just my humble opinion. I was so glad to have the chance to actually see the place in person, though!).
