We had ressies at Whispering Canyon for our last night, but . . .

. . . our last night is now the following day because DH let me add a night onto the end of our trip!! :Pinkbounc Yeah!!! :cool1: Since this now means another day of free dining, we need a TS meal for our last day. DH saw Ohanas' menu on allearsnet last night and thought it sounded good. What do you think?

Any night at O'Hana's sounds good. Have a nice time. It is wonderful there.

We just returned and went to both places. Ohana's is a bit more upscale from WCC, IMO. The skewers were delicious. They also had some fun and games for the kids. WCC was a lot louder and not as 'stylish' as Ohana's....but there were a lot more fun and games for the small children. It was bright and VERY loud. Ohana's was more subdued and dimmer. We prefered Ohana's menu as well as atmosphere. My girls are 13 and 8. Good luck deciding.

If you are at O'hana's later in the evening, they turn the light down and pipe in the sound from Wishes and you see the fireworks from the restaurant. Very cool.

I hope it's a good idea because we're doing it for our last night too! :) Be sure to let us know what you thought when you get back!

'Ohana gets my vote! We went there on the last night of our family reunion (37 adults & children) in 2003. It was truly a highlight of our weekend. The food was great and the kids participated in several games during dinner. It would be a wonderful way to celebrate a magical vacation at WDW!

Enjoy!

On the advice of MANY DISers, we are also doing Ohana our last night. I hesitated at first because DD16 is vegetarian, but she looked at the menu and it appears there are many things she'll eat. Yay!

We just got back on Friday from WDW and did Ohana for our last night...it was truly magical and delicious! They had some activities for the kids and tons of food!! The service was great...and it ended with the Wishes fireworks and music! Truly our most memorable dinner....

Without much thought and only to try a new dining experience we made reservations at O'Hana's for our last night. I can't say I am looking forward to this meal since it will also mean our vacation is over, however I now truly believe we have made a good choice in choosing this restaurant for our last meal at WDW. :goodvibes

It's a Step tradition that we do this the last night. What we usually do is ps around 5:15, spend the day at MK, the go to O'hana, after the meal (since we're full) we hang out on the beach, the beachchairs or the hammock, whatever we can find. Then we take the boat back to MK for the night. Always love doing this.

My family and I love O'Hana's! We went there back in May. It's our family thing to do now.

To Larababe...

We too always hate the last night because it means family vacation is almost over...but...Ohana's was wonderful...it also gave us one last look at the fireworks, monorail, etc. in a beautiful setting with great food...you will love it...and it may become a new family tradition! I can't say enough about the meal, service, kid activities, etc... enjoy it!

This is kind of a spin on my original question. As this will be our last night, I'm curious as to how others schedule their day/evening. We will probably use this day to repeat some of our favorites in all of the parks. We currently have a ressie for 7:50 p.m. With this late of an ADR, I thought we could probably tour the parks until say around 4:00 p.m., return to our resort to begin packing, freshen up, etc. and then go to 'Ohana for dinner at 7:50 p.m. OR I could change to an earlier ressie (say 5-6:00 p.m.), tour the parks until that time, eat dinner, and then return to our resort for the evening to pack, etc. What do some of you do?

We don't usually have a big meal the last night, we do lunch. We like to have the last night at the MK and stay until they close - or at least until after fireworks. We almost always drive so I pack when we get back to the room
since I can sleep in the car. Or I wait until morning because we don't leave until check out.

Our past trip we did eat at CP our last night which was a mistake because we were rushing through our meal to get "back our there" plus we don't care for CP!
