I was hoping to get the advice of those on the "almighty" transportation board. :flower:
I also have this in the theme parks forum, but someone mentioned I'd get more help here. :goodvibes

I guess my main question is what time does the monorail start going in the morning if Magic Kingdom opens at 9?

I have breakfast ADR's for Ohana's at 7:30, and the park opens at 9.
I was wondering which would be better or even, which is possible?

1)park at TTC and ride the monorail over to Poly? and then the monorail to Maic Kingdom. and that's if the monorail is going around 7 at the TTC.
If it's not should I still park there and walk over to Poly, how far of a walk would it be? I will have two seniors with me, so I want to start the morning as gently as possible (as if that's possible when you're having breakfast with Stitch!!! LOL :rotfl: )

2) or, is it really possible to use and pay for the valet service at Poly and just leave it there for the whole day? I know if I park it myself I get a 3 hour pass, but I thought I've read before that you can leave your car in Valet for as long as you want cause you're paying for it.

Thanks!

If you are going to be there during peak season, they might refuse your car at the valet. That lot does fill up, and they will hold some spots for their registered guests.

Your best bet is to park at the TTC very close to the edge of the Polynesian and take the five minute walk to the GCH, then monorail it to the MK.

My thoughts exactly. The landscaping is very nice at the Poly and to walk around by the beach in the morning and see the Castle across the lagoon is just magical.

There probably will be monorail service that early, to get the resort guests to the 8AM character breakfasts at CM, CP, and CT but I would guess it would take awhile since they would probably not run as many as when it is busier during the day.

There is a picture of the path at tikiman's website:

I just wanted to add that the most direct route to the GCH will not take you along the beach. I went back and looked and Tikiman has both a great ariel view of the Polynesian (and you can see how close the TTC is) and a map of the resort.
