Have somebody been at the Ohana's Best Friends Lilo & Stitch Breakfast? Is it good (food, character interaction, etc)? My DB is a stitch fan and I want surprise him with the ressies for these Character breakfast.

Thanks

Did this on 8/30 and loved it. It was our 1st time at O'hana. If you take the monorail, after you get off it and enter head to your left and then go straight. After you check in they take a family picture. Once seated the server will take drink requests and tell you the characters will make their way around. With the drinks came pineapple and cinnamon bread/rolls along with a plate of fruit. Food was wonderful. It comes to your table in a skillet. It has scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pototoes, mickey waffles. It is all you can eat. We did ask for extra of some items with hardly any wait and nice and hot!

Each character made their way around to the table to sign autographs/pictures. Stitch was the best. He is my DS's favorite. When he come up to the table he pretended to drink out of his milk. My DS got a kick out of that. While we were there they asked for the kids to come in front and grab a shaker to parade around the restaurant.

It was a lot of fun and will definately be on our list next year for a meal.

That sounds great I just booked this as a surprise for my mom, she loves stitch, so i will have some pics of it upon our return, we go next weekend.

It is very good and pretty. Just hop on the monorail after for easy park access.

Thanks everyone! Sounds great...I'll make the ressies for it! :cool1: Waiting for those photos!!!

We have been twice this year - once for MY birthday breakfast in February and once for DDs friends birthday "party" which started with the breakfast at Ohanas - (the friend loves Stitch) and then moved onto Animal Kingdom for the day! We are staying at Poly for one night 10/12 after MNSSHP, and I have ADRs for Ohana the next morning as well. Our little mini getaway - 30 miles from home!

The atmosphere is fun and the food is good!

We were there this month and loved it. All of the characters were willing to interact a lot and take time to play with the kids. We've been to Chef Mickeys, the castle breakfast, and dinner at Norway and this is by far our favorite character meal. Also had great service. We were told (I can't remember if it was the hostess or the server) that early or late breakfasts usually provide the most character interaction. This is probably because they're less busy?

This is my plan too, breakfast with Stitch (on my brother's 29th birthday) and then to AK! Sounds like a good plan.

From what I remember the potatoes reminding me of steak fries (the shape) was seasoned and had some onions. No biscuits and gravy.

We were there in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Stitch and Pluto had a running gag when they bumped into each other during the rounds. The kids (ok, and parents :) ) had a blast.

Here are a couple of photos. Click the thumbnails for bigger versions.

Thanks for the photos and the review!!!! :Pinkbounc

How long does your breakfast last? That is the last thing we will do before we leave for the ship. I need to know what time to have the driver pick us up. Thanks

Anyone know how long it takes to get to CSR from there. I'm thinking we might have to take a cab back to our room or one more ride on the monorail.

I agree - the potatoes are sort of potato wedges, and seasoned nicely (in my opinion)

Here is a picture from one of our visits - i have some great ones from the the birthday party of my DDs friend, but I don't want to post pics of other peoples children....

Not a great photo - the lighting was weird, and I took it in a hurry!

Here's the platter of food - Photobucket is being difficult and not resizing the photo at the moment... I'm sure at some point it will reduce!! Sorry for the large size!

The tables on both sides of us request turkey bacon, and they server brought a plateful for both of them with no problem, so if you don't eat pork bacon or sausage, that's an option! DD LOVES bacon!! I LOVED the pineapple bread!

It was so wonderful we are going back this year. Breakfast was great. Character interaction was so good that we wrote a letter to Disney when we returned home (I hope that got into Stitch's personnel file somehow). You can't go wrong with this one.

Stitch got down in the floor and was growling with my DS.

I can't wait to go here - loving the photos, keep em coming guys :Pinkbounc
Quick question - I LOVE waffles, but this breakfast selection is very savory, eg egg's sausages etc..I'm a sucker for sweet breakfast food. Can I get syrup for the waffles or will I get funny looks  Face it us Brits love food thats bad for us :rotfl2:

I'm a sucker for sweets too. Plenty of syrup to go around. :thumbsup2 And quite tasty I might add.

And thanks everyone for the comments on the pictures. It was one of our favorite moments on that trip.
