Ohanas and Wishes question.

I'm sure this has been answered a million times but i am about to do my ADRS. Can anyone tell me, if i make a 9pm reservation for Ohanas will we be able to watch Wishes from the restaurant, or will we have to go outside onto the beach? TIA

Depends on what time Wishes is.

Wishes is at 10pm. I was just wondering if they had a set up where you can see the fireworks from inside or do they have an area (like Narcoosssees) where you can view them outside.

We just did Ohana's in September. We were able to watch Wishes from our table and they feed the audio through also. My wife, kids and I really enjoyed the whole Wishes/Ohana's experience. We would do it again that way for sure!

Unless you're in the restaurant itself and they've given you a table with a view, it will be difficult to see them from inside the Ceremonial House. You can watch them from the beach...but that is not particularly close to 'Ohana. So I'm not sure what the deal is about whether or not you are able to leave your table in mid-meal to go down to the beach and watch the fireworks. There is no balcony or attachment to 'Ohana specifically for viewing.

You'll be able to watch Wishes only if you happen to get a table by the window. You can ask your server to be seated there but theres no guarantee or you would have to wait for such a table to open.

We plan our ADR's so we'll be done with dinner shortly before Wishes and then head to the beach but I am told that if you do get a window table the view is quite good.

we had a window front table with a wonderful view of Wishes. But there is no guarantee that you will get this type of table. Some tables have no view at all. There is no outside patio like at Narcoossee's. 'OHana is on the 2nd floor.
Best bet would be to have an ADR early enough (say 7:30 or 8:00 since seating is often backed up at 'OHana) and plan to watch after dinner from the beach.

We were in the third row of tables from the window and saw everything fine. Wishes was at 9 and we had an 8:30 ADR. We checked in at 8 just to be sure. They dimmed the lights, piped in the music and it was awesome. The water parade was going by the same time as well.
