We are already doing Ohana for dinner during our week at DW (we all love it). I am wondering whether I should add another Ohana dinner for our last night or do an Ohana breakfast on our departure day. We are not really breakfast people but not sure if it would be a nice change.

Well....since we are staying at the Poly for our trip in April, we are doing Ohana dinner on our arrival day and Ohana Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch on our departure morning. We have had the breakfast there before and the amount of food is not overwhelming...but it is good and they will bring more if needed.:thumbsup2

On our last trip we stayed at the Poly. We ended up having the Lilo and Stitch breakfast 3 times. Our kids loved it. DH and I loved the food and the kids loved the characters. We are staying at the Poly again this trip and the kids have already said they really want to have 'Ohana breakfast again, so they obviously didn't get tired of it.

Obviously I would highly recommend the breakfast :lovestruc.

We love 'Ohana!! We have dinner booked twice and the breakfast once during our 9 night stay. We have never done breakfast so we're looking forward to that. I'm telling you I could eat my weight in the shrimp and the dessert at dinner!! :thumbsup2

We usually go to Disney once every 2 to 3 years, and because of that we tend to not go to the same restaurant more than once in any one trip.

But if you are staying at the Poly, it is definitely convenient.

And while we loved dinner at 'Ohana, we didn't really like breakfast. The food was cold and sparse. I think this was because we got a really late ADR for breakfast. :confused3

I would NOT do Ohana twice in one trip, even if one was dinner and one was bkfst. Too much. Yes I understand it is convienent because you are staying at Poly, but why not take advantage of another great restaurant they have....Kona.
They have a wonderful breakfast and dinner.
Better yet, you are on the Monorail, hop on over to Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

Doing the same place twice in one trip doesn't appeal to me, I like to spread myself around, check out all there is to offer. I do my "favorites" but only once then I go find new favorites. :rotfl2:

My DH and I had dinner at 'Ohana one night, followed by breakfast the very next morning. We were so glad that we did and loved both meals. We really aren't big breakfast people either, and I mainly booked the ADR because it was Lilo and Stitch. Again, I'm glad that we decided to do it...it was a lot of fun...the service was great and the food was pretty darn good as well! I would say go for it!

altho we are not staying at the poly, we love the food there and so we are planning multiple adr's there for our upcoming trip. not only do we like the food, i think it is an easier place to get to from another resort and then move on to a a park because you can take a resort bus to mk or ttc and then hop the monorail over to the poly. other resorts are tougher to reach i think when traveling from one to another. anyway, someday i hope to just stay at the poly, but until then, the atmosphere there is so nice we just enjoy dining there! i had to hunt around to get the reservations tho because it is just a month away or so and these reservations seem hard to come by. good luck with your decision.

breakfast at ohanas on leaving day has become a tradition for us..... we LOVE it,, food is good and characters are fun... my kids love the dancing parade around the restaurant..

we are heading to wdw in sept and will be eating breakfast there again on the morning we leave!!

If i were you i would do it!!!

Are Lilo and Stitch the only characters? We are thinking of adding this breakfast to our list, but the kids aren't big Lilo and Stitch fans.

We have been 4 times, and it's always been Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey. The character interaction is great. And we have always had great food there. Can't beat the Mickey waffles and that juice!
If I were picking, I'd much rather have breakfast there than dinner. I think the Kona is as good, if not better, for dinner.
