Ohana

I have eaten at a ton of Disney restaurants and Ohana is ALWAYS the best. The food is amazing, the view is beautiful, especially during the fireworks, and I have had nothing but great service. I love it so much that after our wedding at the Wedding pavilion we are having our reception dinner there. i honestly cant say enough good things about Ohana.
My only complaint is the coconut lady-she gets annoying but everything else is so good it is minor detail.

I just wanted to comment on the people saying that they were "rushed". As a server myself i know that when i am really busy i just move faster and talk faster and seem to check on people more. The servers there are VERY busy so maybe it feels like they may be rushing you, but really they don't mean to be.

I just wanted to add that we had a reservation for 8:45 and the fireworks were at 8 so we showed up at 7:30 and asked if we could get in to see the fireworks and mentioned we were celebrating our recent engagement. The restaurant was on a 2 hour wait as well. Needless to say just the two of us were sat at 7:55 at a huge table meant for 10 people. We got to see wishes perfectly, had 2 servers taking care of our every need, and at the end got a complimentary giant cupcake and the waiter announced our engagement. It was an amazing time. Ohana is a great place! You should keep the reservation.

:goodvibesIMHO I think it has to do with the time you go to dinner. For us, we go around 9pm so we can watch wishes from our table and enjoy a nice leisurely meal. We have never felt rushed and everything was great, including our server. I know late dinners don't work for everyone, but again this is how our family chooses to enjoy our meals at Ohana

We loved it. Everything was great and we are going back this Dec. can't wait/

Our breakfast there was GREAT and the character interaction was great! Our dinner was not very good. Our waiter was kind of rude and not very attentive. Our food was ok - the noodles, bread and dessert were great and that was about it. The meat was dry, wings were gross(we had those wings the night before at Kona and they were AMAZING) and I don't think we would go back. The "experience" was not all that fun to us - but everyone is different. Kona is much better food and we get great experiences all day long at the parks. I would rather eat good food.

I think one of the best restaurants on disney property is Ohana. I go every trip and love it.

We go to Ohana's every trip (3 years running) for breakfast and have enjoyed it each time. One year, my friend went a bit early to make the ressie time (I'd overslept a bit) and when I finally got there (missed one bus and had to wait for the next), the server was genuinely glad I "finally got there"... :)

Love the character interaction (LUV STITCH!!!) there. All of them are great!

I think I am even more confused!:rotfl:

We are going for dinner, my mom who is mainly a vegitarian is also very picky and not a Disney Fan, she is going for her grandkids so I try and make the food good for her. I think though she will be fine. It sounds like the kids will have a lot of fun and that is really what it is about, right? :rotfl2:
