We have a 6;40 ADR at Ohana this week. Should we ... (A) try to get a table by the window and take our time so we can see Wishes at 8:00 , or (B) try to eat fast enough to allow time to get to the beach at the Poly to view Wishes? I realize that asking for a table by the window may mean we don`t get seated as fast. Thanks for your opinions. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Well, you might get lucky because your ADR is 6:40. Most people who made ADR's to see Wishes probably made them closer to 7 or after 7. I would show up at 6:20 and ask for a table by the window. Chances are you'll have to wait 30 minutes or so. That's OK in your case because you are early. I liked watching them from 'Ohana. They dim the lights and play the music. Word of advice - if you do get that window seat, as soon as they dim the lights, scoot your chairs out and try to block people from crowding you, because they will. People who want to see will totally crowd you around your table and the kids go right between you. It's just so rude I think. Actually, I think 'Ohana should have thought of that and put a viewing space up for those people, but that's neither here nor there. Just be sure you don't get crowded out.

If you happen to get done eating and just can't sit there anymore, or you don't want to wait for a seat, the view from the beach is great too. You just can't always hear the music unless you are near the pool.
