My wife and I are taking our niece to WDW in a few days. We have split accomadations and dining plan for part and not for the other. we have an Ohana ADR for a non-dining plan day but really would rather do it a dining plan day. Long story short if the day we want is booked for ADRs what can we expect if we try to walk up?

A long wait.

You might get lucky if you go when they open, but 'Ohana is one of the most popular restaurants and even with an ADR, some people wait quite a long time for their table.

We didn't vacation in FL last year, but in 2008 we were successful in getting seated at Ohanas with no res with only a 15 or 20 minute wait. Although, we were a party of 8 and I've heard they hold a few tables for larger parties.

Ohana is one of those places I highly doubt you will walk in to, they ALWAYS have a line of ppl with reservations. What about calling from now on up to the day you arrive to make an ADR? Seriously I do it all the time when I dont get what I want at first I keep trying..Most times it works out..

get there 30 min before open have never had a problem getting in though its only 2 of us they always tell us it will be an hour wait and they always call us in 15 to 20 min

We were able to walk in to Le Cellier and only wiat 20 minutes for a reservation that had opened up, so it does happen
