Ohana vs Spirit of Aloha

When people speak of the show/entertainers at Ohana, do they mean Spirit of Aloha? Or are they two separate things? If so, I didn't realize Ohana had entertainers.

Which do you think would be better for kids age 7,7, and 6?

Spirit of Aloha and Ohana's are two seperate restaurants within the Poly. Spirit of Aloha is Disney's take of a Polynesian Luau with Hula dancers and fire eaters, and is located outside. It has been a long time since I saw this show, but have an ADR there for when we are there in May. As for Ohana's, we have only ever been to the character meal, but from what I gather at dinner they have coconut races and I believe a woman come out and sings (it may very well be the same woman that comes out and sings at the beginning of the show at SoA). Hope this helps you out.

O'Hana has entertainment for sure where the invite kids up to go up with the entertainers and dance and march around the restaurant. I don't remember specifically but when we went it was very fun and festive.

they singer is the same for both and everyonce and a while they have a older gentlemen for Ohana

We did the luau a couple of years ago. I think the kids were 5,5 and 7. We do 'Ohana every year! The girls love it! They can get up and dance and do the acitivities. The luau is just a show, while they enjoyed it, if it is one or the other, they pick 'Ohana. The food choices are similar, there is more of a selection and better food at 'Ohana and it is one TS credit while the luau is 2. The guy with the fire at the luau is pretty amazing! I am glad we went to it, but DH and I prefer 'Ohana. It is a must do for us every trip. Our girls are now 8,8 and 10 and we will be there in August!
