Ohana to see wishes?

What are the chances of seeing "wishes" from the Ohana resturant w ADRS @7:30 pm? Should I request a window seat or something? Never been to Ohana before but heard it was really good.

When are you going to WDW? You can look up times for Wishes on the DIS website, and you can make a reservation based on the Wishes start time.

For example, if wishes starts at 9 p.m. I would make a reservation at around 8:20.

When you find out what time Wishes starts, call back to change the time on your ADR. Also, I would mention that you would like a window seat. The CM will mark that request on the reservation. It should show up on the computer when you check in at the podium at O'hana.

Great! I will call them now. Wishes starts @ 8:00pm so I will reserve for 7:30. If avaliable that is.

We had a 7 PM reservation last year and WISHES started at 9:00. We had a long wait, about 45 minuttes, and fortunately we were seated with a great view of the castle. We were happy with the wait because we got to see WISHES. The meal can take a long time because you have several different courses.

Okay well I called and they have nothing around 6 or 7, I took a 5:15 and fireworks start at 8:00 so If we have good enough seats we will eat and wait to see the fireworks. Or just cruise on over to the park to watch them..dunno. Le celler was booked for dinner the entire length of our stay

You can watch the fieworks from the beach at the Poly. You will not hear the music, though.

Oh Thats okay, im still SOOO EXCITED to go, wherever we are when we see fireworks will be just fine cause were in DISNEY!!!

dont take this the wrong way, but it seems kinda rude if your done with dinner at 6-615pm and you wait around for 2 hours, in your seats to see the fireworks... Maybe its just me. Think of all the other people waiting after you to eat. You can just go outside, get a graet seat on the beach or a hammock and watch it and not effect other people

I agree with this. It's definately rude to stay almost 3 hours just to see the fireworks. You could just go out on the poly beach.

You are correct. That would be wrong. I just meant if we didnt finish dinner untill around 7:45 or sumthin we would stay, but sure if we were done by 6:30 theres no way we would wait...Never been there dont know how long that resturant takes. Im so glad you know where the good spots are to watch fire works because I DONT. We can barely afford to go and wont be able to again 4 many years so I just want to make sure our experiance is as wonderful as the people that can afford to go every year and know all the secrets about how to make the best out of the trip. Im sure we will just go to the park to watch the show so no worries, I wouldnt want to wait with 2 small boys in a resturant anyway.

Actually, the music is piped in to speakers across the main sidewalk from the Polynesian's beach. You can definitely hear it during the fireworks, although I do wish is was a little louder!
