'Ohana Takeout??

We will be a party of 10, plus 2 babies... Now, I am all for the fun and excitement of an 'Ohana dinner with everyone! However, my sister is not a fan of chaos or sit-down meals on vacation . REALLY??? I plan my trips around where I'm eating!!!

Anyway... I know a friend who ordered 'Ohana room service while she was staying at Polynesian. We will be at a villa at Old Key West. (Another compromise)

Has anyone ever picked up a takeout order from 'Ohana?? We've already missed the window for booking a table, so that isn't an option any longer!

You are right. It's actually a menu item on the Polynesian Resort's in room dining menu. It is not takeout and 'Ohana does not do takeout. It's just room service like any other hotel. So, nope not available for OKW.

Maybe you could leave your sister in the room (or wherever) watching the two babies and the rest of you could go to Ohana?

They do seek some very similar items at the Tambu Lounge (wings and bread pudding) and Kona (bread, wings, potstickers) so perhaps getting something to go from those locals could be an option

There is no window for adrs. While they open at 180 days, it never closes.

Watch for cancels or check periodically, even while you were there

If it makes you feel any better, I think some of the appeal of Ohana is how fresh everything is. Even if they did offer take-out... By the time it was packaged up, transported to OKW, opened and plated-- it would not be the same quality, taste, and experience of the true Ohana.

Agree, enjoy the experience and sister can roll with it or do her own thing! Ten people on vacation is a lot of togetherness, so do what you'd like!
