This place looks amazing, but I've read quite a lot about the family atmosphere and 'kids activities' etc.....

Would you recommened it for 2 adults to have dinner there?

I've been 3x as a party of 2 adults, and have loved it each time. It is definitely boisterous, lots of kids and families, but I think a lot of fun. If you're not one to mind the noise and the activity, I would try it.

DW and I love to go there without our kids. We have a great time and have never felt out of place.

Yes....I went with my mom....
DD wanted to go to kids club....

We had a great table.....right up against the "show floor" and a view out
the window.
We loved the place.

Yes! My husband and I have been here a few times and have enjoyed it. The atmosphere is loud and fun, it's like a big party. It's fun to watch the kids run around (and they do run around!) and do the activities.

We go because we love the food. (Especially the dessert!) If you are thinking it will be quiet and relaxing, it's not! But it is a lot of fun and the food is yummy! (Don't eat too much!)

DH and I don't have any kids so it's always just us going. We've been twice and can't wait to go again.

Thanks guys - You've convinced me to go there!!!

We went last year as 2 couples (DH and I and DSis and BIL) we booked for a later seating and had a great time. I think our ADR was almost 9pm so most of the families had already left. We got good service, had plenty of time to talk and really enjoyed the experience.

Oh, absolutely!! We don't have any children and we went there and it was the best meal of our trip!! We loved watching all the children do the conga line, limbo, dance, etc. So much fun! We also watched the fireworks from our table while having dessert. So romantic! :lovestruc

Absolutely---NOT! Kids running all over the place, the CM/MC screaming at the top of her lungs. And just average food and service. There are far too many other spots for 2 adults to dine.
Kona right next door would be a good place if you simply must eat at the Poly.

2 adults here, love it, going back! It's fun to watch the kids and 2 adults are still "family". :)

We went there the night we got engaged and had the best meal we have ever had. It's our favorite restaurant. We were the first ones seated right at the window looking over the lagoon and the castle. It was AWESOME!!!

If I can ever convince DBF to go, I want to take him there. Do you think they'd let a 55 yo kid do the games too? :lmao:
