Ohana' Reservations

Ok, so now that I live in Florida, my planning ability seems to have left me. Sunday is my 40th birthday and my DS(9) made the honor roll at school. My husband has agreed to take us to Ohana's for a celebratory dinner but I can't get reservations! Oh sure, I can get reservations at 9:10pm but we don't want to eat that late especially because we are not on vacation.

So, has anyone had any luck with calling everyday in a situation like this to try to get someone else's cancellation or should I just give up now?

If it's not too early, try showing up before 5pm when they open. We've had a lot of luck with this, even when all of the PSs are taken. Disney Dining once made a mistake with our July 4 PS at WCC and we showed up early and were seated.

Just show up adequately early (4:30-4:45) and mention your birthday. If that's too early, you can always try showing up at the time you'd like to eat, though you have less of a chance. Or, yes, you can keep calling.

I agree with Forever 42. I might make a back out PS at some other place just in case so you are not left dinnerless. (wrost come to worst, Kona Cafe has good food and I think you can always get in there just fine.)

Going early has worked for us before (not at Ohanna's our 1st time there will be in 2 weeks.)

DW and I quite often don't make PS for Ohana's but will show up close to 5:00. We have never had a problem getting seated then and we usually don't have to wait that long either.
