We will be there 10/21-10/27 and I have been frantically trying to get reservations for places. I have heard from people not to miss Ohana for dinner so I've been trying to get a reservation with no luck. I have 3 children, ages 7,5 & 2 so we can't do dinner at 930 at night. Anyway, a friend told me that sometimes you can wait in line at ohana without a reservation but that you can wait a long time. We arrive on Sunday 10/21 and my plan is to get there at 415-430pm and wait for it to open and see if we can be seated by 600pm. Anyone know if this is plausible? If I can do this, will I have to have our entire party there while we wait or could my husband bring the kids say 530-545pm

I would keep checking everyday and maybe someone will cancel their ADR. You can also check while you are there sometimes people change their plans and eat elsewhere. There are many restaurants to choose from I wouldn't want to wait around with young children I have seen people with adr's having to wait at Ohana's. Linda :)

A better plan would be to keep checking online multiple times a day to see if an earlier time comes up. Just last week I got an 'Ohana res for 6:30 so it can happen. Everyone counts when you're making a res so it looks like you're a party of 5. You could also try for 6 - the system sometimes likes even numbers more than odd. You could keep checking even after you arrive at DW.

You could try walking up, but that would be a last resort. 'Ohana is extremely popular and everyone in your party would have to be there and willing to wait. In fact, most Disney restaurants won't even let you check in until everyone is there. Hoping to be seated around 6 would be pretty difficult since it's the height of dinnertime.

Have your entire family go with you, or don't go at all.

They will not seat you if your entire party is not there. If you were to go there as a "walk up" & they did have a table available, they would not seat you if all were not present.
