Ohana & Peanut allergies...

We are gonna eat at ohanas for my husbands birthday but he is allergic to certain tree nuts. Not allergic to pistachio or regular peanuts. The one we know from his testing is hazelnut for sure. Anyone ever eaten there with a regular peanut allergy and have a problem? We ate there back in 2007 and he was fine but we also talked with the chef so I'm not sure if he altered things. Also has a shellfish allergy! I know, why are we going to go there then? Cause he loves the atmosphere and food!

I'm pretty sure if you address the allergen issues, they can provide food that he can eat. He might not be able to have the exact same food you eat, but he'd be in the restaurant and etc. I've read trip reports about people having meals adjusted for them with similar issues.

Disney is great with allergies! I don't have experience with nut allergies, but all of our needs were always met for other allergies.

Yep they are so great. We love ohana and our son has a peanut/tree nut allergy. Chef visited our table and we had no issues.
