I had originally wanted to eat at Le Cellier for my trip in Oct. but wasn't able to get an ADR for the entire trip. In it's place I scheduled a late dinner at Ohana figuring we'd just leave Epcot early, and watch Wishes over dinner at Ohana.

I've been reading all the reviews I can find on Ohana, and am now thinking I made a bad decision. I'm a bit concerned over the reports of tough meat and it being very noisy. I've been thinking of changing the reservations to Coral Reef, or maybe even Biergarten.

I still plan on trying Le Cellier a few times a week, but I'd really like to find a place we'll enjoy in the likelyhood that nothing ever opens up there. Anyone any thoughts? I've never eaten at either Ohana or Coral Reef, but am familiar with Biergarten.

Oh, I'm going with another adult (no kids in our party), on the dining plan, and dependent on WDW transportation.

we plan on eating at ohanas for our upcoming trip..we're going to try bfst which seems to be better. coral reef was great( see pic) we arranged for a diver to come down during our meal w/ a happy bday sign for our daughters and an anniversary sign for our parents..its free as long as you give notice. maybe the other person would be surprised by a sign from you saying ayoyr having a great time w/them:banana:

food was good. service was great.good luck!

We LOVED our meal at Coral Reef. Our meal at 'Ohana was just OK. The meat on the skewers was a little tough and didn't have much flavor. IMO 'Ohana is like a buffet -- quantity over quality. My vote would be for Coral Reef.

I am going to be a bit controversial and suggest Ohana. The food and atmosphere are AMAZING and the Polynesian is a treat to visit as well. Your plan to watch Wishes from there is PERFECT- you probably have heard that they pipe in the music. This is just my opinion, but I would not miss O'hana.

Have a WONDERFUL day:goodvibes

They are both very good. I think I would choose Ohanas over Coral Reef. Ohanas Has a great view of the Castle depending on where you are sitting. We always seem to be lucky and get a great window seat. Coral Reef is really cool with the tank and all, but the service last time we were there was not so great. Bad service can ruin a perfectly good meal.
