I am an AP and have never been to either restaurant. They seem comparably priced and I have reservations at both restaurants for 2 adults only, a day apart for dinner. Assuming it doesn't matter which park we go to for the day (so location is no issue), which restaurant would you rather go to and why?

We tried Ohana because it's classic Disney and we were staying at Polynesian. It was fine! No rushing issues, food was pretty good. We won't do it again though.

So, I say, try Cape May! Great ambiance and Beach/Yacht Club are our favorite hotels. :)

I'd recommend 'Ohana UNLESS you both really enjoy seafood. I like the food at 'Ohana better (for no real reason other than personal preference, I guess), and I also just feel like that's one of the Disney restaurants everyone should try at least once.

These are both resort restaurants. We have dined at both mainly because we were staying at the resort. They are very different restaurants and rarely find anyone comparing the two. O'hana in my opinion runs off its past reputation which still attracts people today. Cape May is a place to dine if you stay at the BC resort. I would suggest to look at the menus and pick the one that best aligns to your schedule while considering travel times. Cape May will provide a more relaxed setting with easy access to Epcot.

Very different restaurants, but if I had to pick one it would be Cape Mays. It is our only MUST DO of any Disney restaurant. No, the food isn't out of the world amazing (neither is Ohana), but it is very good and our favorite. We love seafood, and the wide variety there.

For us, walking or taking a boat from HS or EP to that whole Boardwalk, Beach Club area is a huge part of the attractions. It's just plain beautiful area. Relaxing.

We enjoyed both greatly, so if I have to pick one.....I'd say Cape May b/c of the variety and the area for afterwards. I'd say can't go wrong with either, but a lot would disagree based on recent experiences with Ohana (we had a fantastic dinner there but others.....not so much)

How is Cape May for breakfast? We were going to do Boma (which we've done before and was amazing) but figured we would try something new. My wife and I read that its probably the best breakfast buffet currently going in terms of food quality.

We like both, but seafood is a favorite of ours so we prefer Cape May! AYCE crab legs:thumbsup2

Is it mostly seafood? I saw a video review and it looked to be the usual breakfast staples (eggs, bacon, muffins, sausages, etc.) with some other items but I didnt see a lot of seafood. We do enjoy seafood but I am not sure if that is what I want my breakfast to be.

Oops! didn't notice you were going for breakfast. The seafood is for dinner. Breakfast is the usual breakfast fare! We've done that, too and it's very fun with the characters dressed in beachwear!

Well first off the resort hotels routinely beat up the parks in terms of food quality. I say Ohana, we eat there twice every trip. But I have to be honest my daughter would not eat seafood if you tried to force her. She is a typical Midwest carnivore.

We ate at Cape May one night and Ohana the next when we were there last month. Cape May was cheaper, by the way. We often eat at Cape May, especially when we stay at the BC or YC. I like the variety that you get with a buffet and the ability to get my food when I want it. Ohana was an excellent meal, but it is something we only do when were are traveling with a group.

I cast my vote before reading it was a dinner! I voted for Ohana mostly because I prefer being served at the table vs. a buffet. I also LOVE Lilo and Stitch! I do like Cape May for breakfast, a lot, but would not do either for dinner. I think the quality of food at Ohana is terrible and I dont like seafood.
