I'm the planner of a Grand Gathering (12 family members). We all check out on Dec 26. Everyone leaves early but us! ;) I'm thinking of booking a late breakfast for just my family of 4 before leaving the world...kind of a decompression y'know?
We've done O'Hana character breakfast once a couple of years ago and loved it! Have never been to Cape May's breakfast or even Beach Club resort. Each seems to have its own pluses and minuses...food, characters, views...
Which one would you do?

I think that a big part of your decision should be which characters you want to see. For us, breakfast food is breakfast food. We generally do those two for dinner, so I can't really comment on any other differences.

I like the Cape May Cafe better because it is a buffet whereas the Ohana breakfast is served family style.

We went to Cape May in June and had a nice time, but we think that O'hana is better.

Loved O'Hana's in the past, but we're not Stitch fans, so I'd definitely vote for Cape May's. We loved seeing the characters in their "swim gear" and they took lots of time with our kids. I think they each came by the table twice, because the place wasn't too busy. They buffet was good and they had Krispy Kreme donuts, which we all loved.

I say go somewhere you have not gone before! We did Cape May for dinner and not breakfast so I can not comment on that but, it is nice there.

Cape May! It's my absolute favorite character breakfast (and character meal) at WDW! Great interaction with the characters, wonderful food, and a very relaxed atmosphere!

We love the Stitch breakfast! I have DS10 and DS6, who are both HUGE Stitch fans, in fact my DS6 is VERY similar to Stitch personality-wise :stitch: ! There are great characters there, and they always spend a fair amount of time at the table, usually a couple of times for each character.
The food is good; nummy biscuits, small Mickey waffles (if I remember correctly), maybe eggs and sausages? I usually go straight for the Mimosas from the bar :drinking1 !
We haven't been to Cape May, so I can't compare, but like someone else said - depends on your kids and their favorite characters!

We've never done Cape May. We love 'Ohana's breakfast. We've always had a great time with the characters.
