'Ohana looks fun for kids, Artist Point kid friendly ?

We are celebrating our 21st anniversary - and our kids ranging in ages from 8 yrs old to 16 yrs old will be with us.

Which would you choose ?

Can we order a small cake at 'Ohana ?
We do not do banana desserts....'Ohana bread pudding a la mode with Bananas Foster Sauce ;)

I far prefer Artist Point. It depends on what you and your family like to eat. I like the menu selections at the full service restaurant. I'm not much on skewers of overcooked meat and shrimp. :confused3

'Ohana is child friendly to be sure, but so is every Disney restaurant, really.

For your 21st anniversary with the kids, definately artist point.

I would want memorable food, great service in a great atmosphere. You will get all of that at Artist Point. There are plenty of families that dine at Artist Point. Also, while a dress code is suggested, it is not required..so don't feel you have to get everyone dressed up to go to artist point. Hubby and I have gone in everything from park attire (no tank tops, flipflops or swimwear though), jeans, to nice pants and tops..just depended on where we were coming from for the reservation.

Also, if the kids finish eating you could send them to the arcade while you and hubby enjoy a nice dessert and drink/coffee after dinner.

Definitely Artist Pointe.

DH and I will be dining there on our next trip with the kids to celebrate our 20th anniversary!! :cool1:

I've eaten at both and definitely prefer Artist's Point. Ohana was good, but definitely not a romantic type atmosphere. More kid friendly, but with that you have kids, music, coconut races, hula hoop contests, etc.

The salmon at AP is wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about the berry cobbler.

Either way, have fun.

Yes you should be able to order a cake - but FYI - there are NO bananas in the sauce or pudding :)
