'Ohana!!!!!!!! not O'Hana's!!

Sorry, I just HAD to post this. Call it a pet peeve. The restaurant at the Polynesian is called 'Ohana, which is a Polynesian word that means family. It drives me nuts every time I see it spelled O'Hana or O'Hana's on these boards!!!!! It's not an Irish pub!

Does this bother anyone else?

These things get screwed up all th time. I always try to reference my dinning book for (not referencing here so please excuse all spelling!).

-Narcoosee or Narcoosee's
-Yachtsman Steakhouse, or Yachtsman's Steakhouse
-Citrico, Citricos, or Citrico's
and likely several more.

Now, it would be correct to say "What's on 'Ohana's dessert menu"...

When I read the title of your post- I didn't even realize YOU had spelled it two different ways! The way I saw it- I thought it was going to be about you getting a reservation then losing it- I never even realized they were spelled differently- that probably answers your question- as long as the letters are there that little apostrophe doesn't even register with me- I'm sure my English teachers would cringe!

As long as the food's good- I'm okay with however it's spelled.
