'Ohana New Dinner Selections

That's surprising that the turkey is gone! It was so good and now there are two servings of chicken?!
We enjoyed 'Ohana on our trip last February but it wasn't our best meal. Some of the meat was pretty dry. The salad was delicious as was the dessert.
Here are my pics:

The turkey wasn't a huge part of the meal for me, so I won't personally miss it. I would be heartbroken if any of the appetizers or the dessert were to change though!:rotfl:

I'm still in triple digits (not going till October!) but I have dinner at Ohana on the schedule and I am VERY excited! We have eaten here for breakfast 100 times (OK more like 4 ) and I love it, but I really wanted to try dinner! I hope it's worth it!

I'm still disappointed in the loss of the potatoes too. I don't believe the trans fat excuse, there are easy ways to replace whatever it was with the bad fat in it IMHO. We love the bread and bread pudding, as far as DD is concerned, she only needs that and an appetizer of a wing or two and she's good. She tries to snag a loaf of that bread as we pass the firepit on our way in! :rotfl:

I've never been to Ohana for dinner or breakfast. What does this "family style" portions mean (is it like an all you can eat kind of thing or is there a limit per table?)? Also does anyone know if the price increases during Christmas time because it's "high" season (if so how much?)?

Also is the food good or is the food like CM? (I really disliked the food at CM)

Any insight would be very helpful. THANKS popcorn::

The family style at O'hana's refers to the apps and dessert. Big portions for all to share. The entrees are cooked on giant skewers and the waiters roam the dining room offering the different meats. You can eat as much as you want. I believe there is an up charge for Christmas time. How much I don't know. The food is better than CM b/c it is very fresh, not sitting under heating lamps or on a buffet line.

Yes, but we did also get seconds on the apps. We were pretty full before the dessert so we didn't ask for more of it.

We've got two trips to Ohana planned this August. I can't wait! We loved it there on our last trip, and couldn't believe that we hadn't eaten there sooner. The food pics are making me drool! :)

I know DH always asks for more steak and DD always asks for mor shrimp and never had a problem, I asked for more dumplings..lol

We are about the Salad and the Meat. We tell them to keep all the other items. I sure hope the salad is still there.
