Did they change the menu at Ohana's? No more turkey now chicken and they changed the dessert?

I just wish they would peel the shrimp. Allears.net usually has an updated menu.

It says chicken, not turkey. Dessert says bread pudding.

This was true also when we went Thanksgiving 2010

When we ate at Ohana in September 2010 and September 2011 they had Chicken both times and delicious bread pudding for dessert! It was all SO good. The amount of food we got for 2 people was enough to fee at least 4 people!

OH, Puleeeze, don't change that wonderful bread pudding dessert. That is one of the reasons I love going there so much  Where did you hear this? Say it's not true :confused3

They leave the shell on since it's roasted. If they peeled the shell and then roasted the shimp, the shimp would end up being dry and the meat would be tough. I am not a big fan of peeling the shimp either but they did have a really good flavor! All the food was wonderful!

I read on another site too that the dessert had changed - some sort of coconut pineapple sauce concoction of some sort...... I haven't read anywhere of someone who has seen it or tried it. Crossing fingers it was only a test.... ....that failed...

I'm sad about this if it's true. Everyone has the best things to say about the bread pudding. We have our first ever ADR for Ohana in May.

They definitely had the bread pudding when we were there end of October. I'm another one who hopes they don't change that.

We were there last week......bread pudding is the same with the warm banana foster sauce....so good.

And the chicken is really good. I prefer it to the turkey. Delicious meal.

Do they give you moist towlettes or should I bring some?

Yes, definitely chicken now, no turkey.

There was a rumor going around that they were thinking of changing the dessert and surveying for opinions but there's a recent report on this thread that it's still the same dessert.

We are going next Friday and I dont like bread pudding so this would be fine by me.

But I will post and update if they made a change.

Love the bread pudding at 'Ohana. My stepson (23) does not like bread pudding and he just gets the vanilla ice cream. I hope they never change the dessert. We used to go when they just had the pineapple for dessert, but now it is a must do. My stepson love the shrimp - and even though you need to peel it (I used to do this for him when he was young) we go through a ton of it now.

The wonderful dessert.

I haven't been to Ohana yet, but it's on the list for the next trip. And I've never had regular bread pudding, but there is a restaurant that we go to here which has chocolate bread pudding and it is TO DIE FOR! Now my mouth is watering.

OMG! Only 15 days until I am here again. Everything - from the salad thru the dessert - is amazing. I hope our next visit is as wonderful as all those that precede it!

Funny the OP mentioned the salad, we loved it so much, we asked the waiter what the dressing was and he came back a few minutes later with the recipe:thumbsup2
