'Ohana is the last elusive ADR that I just can't land

Ohana is harder to get than LeCellier lately! Our last trip I was able to get LeCellier at 4 months out, but no 'Ohana available before 9:30pm on any of the 10 days of our trip (again, 4 moths out.) I checked nearly every day before we left and still never found one.

For this upcoming trip, I got 'Ohana at 7:05pm at my 180-day mark. I am hoping it works out well with the 8pm MK fireworks.

I would continue to check the online system every day - you never know when a time might show up from a cancellation.

I got my 'Ohana reservation today for October after trying for a month. Don't give up! I was looking for 5:00 and got 5:05

I tried hard to book one for November, no luck. Do you think Disney may open more spaces before I leave? Do they reserve some spots for hotel guests?

I am in the opposite boat, I have found a O'hana but would gladly trade it for a Le Cellier. I guess it goes to show we can't have it all, lol.

We are booked to stay at AKL Jan 8th to Jan 22nd and I am unable to get Ohana dinner for any day during our trip. I did get confirmation from the Poly that Ohana will be closed for refurbishment Jan 17-20th so maybe that has something to do with the lack of availability

For some reason - booking for a party of 5 is easier than 3 or 4. I have had more luck. Don't give up hope - 2 years ago - I got a ressie by calling disney dining from our hotel and it was for 2 days later. I called everyday from the day we arrived and got it on the 3 day. I also think people will cancel at the 45 day mark. Good Luck.

I have been trying for the first week of DEC for a month with no luck. Only after 9 pm which is a little to late for us. I will have to keep looking. I am checking daily, though.

We, too, booked a trip just recently (about a month before travel) for the first week of Sept. The only Ohana dinner reservation I could get was 940 pm and I'm pretty sure we won't do that one. If I can get us Ohana at a decent hour, we'd probably switch to the dlx plan. If not, oh well, we have an ADR for our January trip already.

I spoke with a CM who confirmed it's closing for a few days for a renovation. I am wondering if this was expanded into more of January?

When I try to check for the entire month, there is only dinner reservations on January 1st, and nothing for the rest of the month. Nothing until February 1st or 2nd. January 1st is going to be way more nuts at Disney than January 20th.

For the fun of it I checked availability on some key days in December and you can still get in on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

I can easily get into LeCellier for the end of January, but can't find anything at 'Ohana.

It's not that bothersome to me, there are plenty of places to eat for us. Just found it curious that Jan 1 is no problem, but the rest of the month is booked solid.

What's weird though is that you can get reseverations through January for breakfast, but never for supper! So I can't see them only doing renovations at night... so I don't know what's up with supper. It's very strange

I am hoping to get a reservation there for supper in later January, I have a back-up ADR just in case, but I would really love to get into Ohana's (mostly because my mom really wants it. While she's happy about our trip, she's not that excited given that it's over 5 months away... but when I told her I couldn't get Ohana's she was sad LOL)

I feel lucky then to have gotten both Ohana and Le Cellier on our upcoming x-mas trip...I've been to Ohana for dinner before but never to Le Cellier and I was determined to get both for this trip. Keep checking and keep looking at the cancelled ADR threads....good luck.

We're doing the QSDP and Ohana is the only TS ressie we'd like and I have been checking every day (some days 2-3 times I'm embarassed to tell you ) and nothing! Won't ruin our trip by any means but now I feel like I'm on a quest to get that ressie.....

That's what I did to get mine...and I actually squealed when it showed as available. I really scared my DH! Keep on checking!

Sadly, you're just out of luck right now. There are no 'Ohana reservations for dinner during that time period in the system.

A CM generously offered to look deeper into it, and there are no reservations made, as in nothing was released in the system.

There are breakfasts to be had, but no 'Ohana dinners between 1/2/11 and 2/1/11 (might be 2/2/11 - I don't remember the exact date that they opened up again)

(A few years ago they did a renovation during the evenings only in January - I am wondering if this is another case like that. I'll be watching and waiting for more news about it right along side of you)

this is the only place I need to snag for my trip too! Im wondering if you have more luck calling or using the online system. Anyone have an opinion? I always look on line so I wasnt sure if I can improve my chances if I just call.?? Good luck everyone!

For the previous poster who needed a party of 8 for Ohana, we went with a party of 9 in May. I had to book 2 separate ressies at close times - one for 5 and one for 4. Then, call disney dining and tell them to link them together and that you are a party of 8 - if not they will cancel one thinking you double booked.

That may be what they need to do once reservations open up for the end of January, but as of my check this morning the problem for the PP is that there are no dinners open up in January. (I keep looking for myself as well)
