Just looked on Disney's Web site and for June 18th the firework show is @9:45. I already have PS for 8:00, would it be best to keep this time or change it to a later time? If I keep this time will I still be there for the Fireworks? Also the web site says that the park closes at 9:30 but the fireworks is at 9:45 is this right? I thought it was right at closeing.

Thanks,
Patty

In Feb. we had a 6:30 PS at "Ohana and the firework was at 7pm. We waited for about 15-20 minutes before our table was ready, the fireworks started shortly after we were seated.

I would think that if you have a PS around 8:45, it would be safe to see the fireworks.

Our waitress at the end of the meal, brought over the dessert (the pineapple with caramels) without our asking. I think that was a sign telling us we should get going (we were there for about 90 minutes or less). It is a very popular restaurant and I can understand that they want to turn over the tables. So personally unless you have a huge party, I would not want the PS to be too much ealier than 1-1 1/2 hours before the fireworks. We love the food here and I think it is a pretty good deal in terms of the price for what you get versus other a la carte restaurants.:D

Just keep in mind that hours and parades and firework's times are subject to change. They can change times up to the day.

The servers automatically bring the caramel and pineapple after they clear your dinner plates because that is part of the routine. Sometimes they'll tell you that it's coming and other times they'll just bring it (depends on your server). If you feel rushed then make sure to stay:p

We had 6:30 ressies in February, when fireworks were at 8:00. We requested a window seat at check in, which meant we did wait a few minutes (20 or so?) to be seated. We thought the timing was just right. We had finished dinner, but dessert had not yet arrived. Many people who were seated before us, lingered in order to watch, and this did not seem to be a problem.

I think that your reservations are pretty late into the evening, and it seems unlikely that they would fill the dining room again that late anyway. We enjoyed this experience very much. It was our first night in the World, and set just the right tone.

And even if your dinner at 'Ohana is over well before the fireworks begin, you can always go outside and watch the fireworks and EWP from the lounge chairs on the beach. We have done it both ways, and enjoyed it.

That is exactly what I would do.
