I really want to do the O'Hana character breakfast because I think my dd's would really like to see Lilo & Stitch and would enjoy the atmosphere.

I realize that it's like comparing apples to oranges, but apart from the food, is the atmosphere at dinner too similar to that at breakfast, just minus the characters? For example, do they do coconut races and limbo stuff at both breakfast and dinner? We will also be planning dinner at Kona one night, put I love Polynesian inspired food so that is not a factor in my choice.

Is it worth it to do both the breakfast and dinner in one trip?

If your child is a Stitch fan than breakfast is a must. Stitch was being Stitch at breakfast and cracking everyone up ~ stealing bacon, mussing hair, grabbing hats and being naughty. The kids loved it. And it was very relaxing for Mom & Dad because the food is brought to your table and you can have as much as you care to eat. The pineapple bread is yummy.
