There's very little that's sweet tasting in the meal. You start out with wonton chips that have three dipping sauces. I think one of them was sweet, but the other two were not. Then you're served a mixed salad with a dressing that is a bit sweet, but I can't remember the exact flavor. This is followed by peel-and-eat shrimp, not sweet at all. The main meal consists of mixed vegetables in a sauce, skewered meats, and au gratin potatoes. None of these items is sweet at all. The dessert is of course sweet. It's a bread pudding. Yum. It was one of my favorite meals, so I definitely think it's worth trying. There is so much available that he'll be able to find plenty that he likes.
