Is it possible to view the MK fireworks from this restaurant? We always seem to end up at California Grill, but we wanted to try something different this year.

Thanks in advance!

Leslie

YES! We had dinner last year on our last night. I was with my dh and 2 children plus my parents. We had a seat in the window and at 8pm the fireworks went off. My daughter said something like "I'll never forget this night" and my Mom started bawling! It was a special WDW moment.

We made reservations for this trip (2 weeks!) at 7:10. Fireworks are scheduled that night. I plan to call Ohana the minute they open that evening, mention my ps, and ask to have a seat by the window again. Even if there are no fireworks when you go, the view of the lit castle is wonderful.

Have fun! Ohana is a wonderful, fun family place.

We like to eat first, then walk down to the Poly beach and watch the fireworks from there, lying in a hammock!! Either way is great! Have fun!:D

Thanks for your replies!

Is there a website or a link to what time the fireworks start? I know they are different according to the months...we will be there the first two weeks of March.

Also, I had read some where to request the 'main dining room' at Ohana....are the window seats (to view the fireworks ) also in the main dining room, or are they in a different location? We are staying at the Polynesian, so we plan on at least once viewing the fireworks from the beach (if the weather cooperates with us!)

Thanks again!

Leslie

we had a front row center seat last week. It was the luck of the draw. We did mention when we checked that we would be willing to wait for front row seat.

Disney Online lists park hours. If you go to the Disney site, first click on WDW. Then look up "parks." In this section they provide hours for coming months plus tell you what entertainment is provided on what days. During March the MK is open from 9-7 and on some nights from 9-8. On the later nights there will be a Spectromagic Parade at 7 and fireworks at 8. These "special" nights are: 3/1 (actually open til 9); 3/8; 3/10; 3/15; 3/17; 3/21 and 3/22.

Hope this helps! We plan to visit the MK on a firework night and eat at Ohana on another firework night. The view from the Polynesian is wonderful.
