Ohana Dinner Menu Question

How does the dinner menu work at Ohana? I have a 12yo pseudo-vegetarian (she eats bacon, of all things :confused3, but no other meat). Will I have to pay the full dinner price for her, or is there an a la carte option? She'd be happy to eat the veggies and noodles.

We will not be on the dining plan unless the free dining rumors swirling around turn out to be true (paying the adult rate for the dining plan for this kid would be a colossal waste of $$).

You will have to pay the full price for her even if she doesn't eat at all. They do offer alternate kid options but I think those are all meat options as well. Atleast there are veggies and noodles included with the meal.

Great noodles and veggies I might add. You should be fine. Hope it works out for you.

I should hope so since they're going to cost me 35 bucks :lmao:

Oh well, it's all about the experience, right? Besides, her 8yo sister can put away as much steak as a high school football player :thumbsup2

And it won't hurt to ask if they have a vegetarian option....you never know what they might come up with!

You will have to pay full price for her no matter what she eats. But good news is if you tell the server she is veggie they will prepare her something as well.
This is nice, as my friend's daughter is veggie and she didn't know that everyone at the table has to pay whether they eat or not. So they came and talked with her and she declined anyway and just ate the veggies and noodles along with the salad and bread.

We will definitely try that. She has always been incredibly picky but has been open to trying more new things lately. We've at least convinced her that if she wants to be a (bacon eating) vegetarian, she actually has to eat vegetables. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I am also vegetarian and i LOVE 'Ohana!!!! The lomein is fantastic, bread and salad. If you let your waiter/waitress know about a vegetarian at the table the chef usually will take special care.

Ive had this twice:

It reads to me that she's not so much a vegetarian but a bit of a picky eater - based on what you've said, I'm sure she'll be fine with the side items provided, and yes, the restaurant will charge her full price.

I read a lot of dining reviews and I've seen several vegetarians that have a special meal prepared for them at ohana.

Be sure to note the vegetarian needs on your ADR and I bet they can make something special for her.
