We have a 6:40pm Ohana reservation on a Saturday.

I need to schedule my son a reservation for The Void-Star Wars experience at DS directly following dinner.

We are driving from Poly to DS--but I'm unsure of the best time to schedule Star Wars since I don't know how long Ohana will take on a Saturday night...

Anyone there recently on a weekend evening? How long was dinner?

TIA!

We've always been seated right on time at 'Ohana, but I have heard horror stories of people waiting ages past their ADR for their table. If you split the difference and assume you will be seated by 7, you will probably be finished by 8:15 or so. I wouldn't schedule your Star Wars experience until 9 or 9:30.

We’ve gone to O’hana almost every trip since 2000. We have been seated late more times than we’ve been seated on-time. I would also recommend allotting 90-120 minutes for dinner.

I'd guess 2 hours on the conservative side. 90 minutes would be the absolute quickest. If you get an ADR earlier in the evening, the odds of being seated on time increase. Later in the evening, it is very likely to be seated 20-30 minutes after your ADR time.

We were there in February. I didn't time it but it was at least 2 1/2 hours. We waited over half an hour past our ADR time. The apps and drinks came out fairly quickly but the skewer service was ridiculously slow. We spent a lot more time waiting for skewers than we did eating. I hadn't eaten here in years and was extremely disappointed with our meal. The salad was tired and the meats/shrimp were very dry and over cooked. I pretty much spent $50 on dumplings and dessert. We'll be sticking with Boma the next time the guys want an AYCE meal.

I’ve never gotten out of there is less than two hours. It’s one meal that I wouldn’t be making plans for afterward. I think it is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

I waited an hour past my ADR just to be seated last year. The next visit I only waited 20 minutes. Ohana seems to always have a long wait time to be seated!

I have a question for people who have been seated very late, what time were your reservations? We have reservations at 4:00 and I am hoping since dinner starts at 3:30, they will not have gotten behind yet.

We had a reservation at 4:50 in March and we were seated about 10 minutes after we checked in, but we were also about 10 minutes early. I would say with your 4:00 time you should be okay.

Generally you can get done in about an hour if you want to or take longer if you want to once you are seated. On days service is slow, it can take 90 minutes. Waits to get seated generally are less earlier than the evening, then build through peak hours, and drop a bit again after that. But waits during peak times can be short too or they can be long. Our wait times have ranged from say 10 minutes to about 50 for reservations during peak dinner time. Prior to peak time we've never waited more than about 5-10 minutes.

I agree. I have never been seated on time, and would. not plan much after that dinner.
