'Ohana dinner at 3:45 - have the activities started that early?

I could only snag a crazy early (3:45) dinner res or crazy late, like 8:45 which is just too late for us. Has anyone done a dinner slot at 3:45 at 'Ohana? Is it still fun? Specifically are the coconut races and music happening that early?

We've only done the 3:30pm dinner once, as a late lunch for us. There weren't any activities, and no music. But that was just that one time, so I can't say for sure.

Nope. The "action" starts around 5:30 pm with the "fun" beginning around 6pm.

Same holds true for Whispering Canyon Cafe

We just ate there about that time tonight.
Our reservation was for 3:50 but we were really hungry and checked in at 3:30 and were seated within minutes. This was our first time at 'ohana so im not sure what is typical for entertainment. They had a woman walk around singing and interacting a bit pretty much our whole meal, then between our main meal and dessert (so maybe 4:15 ish?) they did a coconut race. We left by about 4:30.

It's still Spring Break, that could be the reason. On average, the entertainment begins around 5:30 to 6pm.

We had a 3:30 res in January. There were singing and coconut races while we were there....

We have also had the singer performing and the coconut races happen during the times that we have had reservations between 3:30 and 3:55 pm. Actually now that I think of it, we have never had any later reservation times at Ohana. They have always been in the 3-4 pm range.

Yes, the entertainer is there starting at 3:45ish. There is usually a coconut race for the kids by 4:15-4:30pm. I work there.

We have also eaten in that time slot twice now and both times there was the entertainment and coconut race.

They advertise it as having entertainment for dinner, so I would think the entertainment should start when dinner service starts. If it didn't there would probably be more complaints about it.
