Hi Everyone,
I am wanting to book a dinner at Ohana's and be there at a good time to see the fireworks across the lake. I am going ot be there in March and I can't seem to find what time the fireworks go off at. I believe Ohana is across from MK which is open until around 11 pm most nights. Any suggestions of when I should make my reservations for?? Anyone know when the show the fireworks each evening? Can you reserve certain tables and if so which should I request?
Thank you!
Nikki

you'll have to check the schedule to see what time the fireworks are that night. We ate at the GF at Narcosse's and had a 7:50 ADR and got to see Wishes at 9pm which was a nice break after our dinner and before our dessert...plus they have that moving light show train thing on the water (perhaps someone can better clarify what I'm talking about here...but you get the jist) that goes around and we were able to enjoy that as well. HTH!

We really like to eat at Ohana for dinner and then walk out to the beach area and watch the water pageant and the MK fireworks. We try to do that each time we go.

Just make sure to check the time for the pageant and the fireworks and make your ADR for about two hours prior.

Only the tables at the windows have a view of the fireworks...and no guarantee you'll get one of those. It's better to just eat there and then go out on the beach to watch.

We did this last Thursday and it was GREAT! It was pouring rain out the night we'd scheduled to see the MK fireworks earlier in the week so this was our only opportunity and we were not disappointed. We had a 7:40 pm ADR at Ohanas and the fireworks were at 9 that night. The times vary so I wouldn't make your ADR until Disney releases the March schedule. OR you could make your reservation for like 6:00 and then enjoy the resort until it's time for the fireworks.

Thanks for your advice! I was thinking of perhaps going on the beach to watch the fireworks but read somewhere that for free parking they limit the time you can spend at the resturant. Do you know if this is true?

Does anyone have any idea what time the fireworks may be if MK closes at 11pm that night? I have tried looking everywhere but can't find it.
Thanks!

Is it open until 11pm because of EMH? If so, then the fireworks would be at park close which I believe would be 8 pm? If you already know what time the park closes, then the fireworks/parade schedule should've also been released I would think?

I would think that the schedule would be out but I can't seem to find it. Any help?

Are there time restrictions on how long you can park for free while having your meal?

I have reservations for 6:50 in January and the park closes at 8:00 and the fireworks are scheduled for then due to EMH. Do they pipe in the music at Ohana and if you are not seated at the window can you go outside to watch and then return to finish dinner? Im not sure whether to try and get an earlier time and then high tail it back over to MK to see them or have a leisurely dinner, watch the fireworks and then go back over for the EMH....any opinions?

Our ADR was for 7:40 and the fireworks were at 9. We got seated around 7:50 (and service was slow). We ate leisurely and made it outside in plenty of time to watch the fireworks on the beach. If your nervous you could go a little earlier and see if they'll seat you? I know they pipe the music to the beach but not sure about the restaurant.

But HOW do you find the times of the fireworks? And, what's up with parking there?

Im not sure about the parking since we took a cab from the hotel ($10 from POR to Poly). They must not have released the fireworks schedule yet. They will release it as it gets closer to your trip (but it may be subject to change). Go to the Park Hours Calendar on Disney's website and click on the individual days you're interested in and it will give you that info.

Hope that helped a little bit. :)

Go to the calendar on the disney website with the park times. Click on the specific date that you want to know the schedule for and you should see the parade and fireworks times for that date. We are also going in March and I noticed the times are out for the week we are going. I'm not sure about parking...we took the boat over from WL when we ate at 'Ohana last time.

When we were there a month ago, there didn't seem to issue regarding the parking. When we entered the premises, we just said we were there for dinner and they sent us through.

But if it is usually an issue, you're right on the monorail, so you can park at the TTC and take the monorail over. And BTW Ohana was one of the best meals we had while at Disney.

Thanks guys! I am a goon. I was at the calendars before but never clicked on the date. Good to know about parking as well. I am going to try and work this all out!

Most times when you go to the Poly, you'll get a parking pass good for 3 hours. Whenever we go to the Poly, we just park at the TTC and walk over.
